How do I make a good CCTV system with old webcams and with a Wi Fi router?
hi,
why? you just have to select the channels to each camera in local usb and it is ready to show all cameras and able to detect/send and everything... then if you want to remotely see with smart phone (for ex) the easiest way is to install teamviewer with a fixed password and you'll be able to see and do what ever you want on your laptop... the system with a router is also possible but less easy to setup for beginners, you have to add a dyndns option and redirect ports in the router to pass through it to your computer... teamviewer does all the trick !
