Try unplugging everything then unplug the TV for a minute plug everything back in turn on. It might be the main board that needs replaced on it if that wont work. FYI LCD TV/ DVD Combos have been known to have issues

Please try this first t narrow down the problem.
First, look at the screen in darkened room to see if you can see any slight glow from the screen, if it does, then the problem can be the T-CON (not getting the 12vdc) or the main logic board not feeding the signals to the T-CON board. if not, next place to check will be the power supply module, make sure it has 24vdc which is required by the backlight inverter to work, the reason for not having 24vdc can be from bad DC filter caps (leaking/bulging top, high ESR) or short circuits in the inverter board which will cause the 24vdc supply to go into shutdown mode, so you may have to disconnect the power cable that feed the inverter board to see if the 24vdc will work without the inverter board hookup, you will need to apply about 3~4 amp of load to the 24vdc to make sure it can handle that. There are fuses on the backlight inverter boards also. So there is some troubleshooting you will have to do to find out the causes of the problem you are having. Sounds like it might have bad caps on the power supply. If you are semi knowledgeable you can take off the back of the panel and look at the capacitors on the power supply to see if any of them are bulging. If so just have them replaced. Make sure TV is unplugged and wait a little bit after you unplug it because capacitors can hold a charge. Otherwise have someone else take a look for you.

Before I start suggesting that you change any settings and/or rescan for digital channels (which you've probably already done), please could you answer one simple question for me - are you certain these channels are missing?

This may sound like a stupid question, but the DTV tuner in some TVs can function differently to others. If you are switching the TV to channel 11 and then using channel up/down you may find it "skips" past 11.1 giving the impression that the channel is "missing". Please try accessing the missing channels using the numerical keys on your remote. For 11.1 press "1 1 - 1" or "4 - 1" for 4.1. The dash/hyphen is under the 7 key on your remote.

I apologise if you've already done this, but I'm trying to ascertain where to start looking. If the channels don't display when the channel numbers are entered directly using the numerical keys on the remote, then they are definitely missing - and we'll start from there.

It would also help me to know how your cable box is connected to your TV, e.g RF co-axial, Composite (red/white/yellow RCA type), etc.

Use your Menu button on the set then using the channel up&dn, scroll to video portion and normally sets use the volume up or down to select that option. Then scroll down the video section to reset and press the vol+ or - to reset. Those combinations should work, it may take you a couple of frustrating times to get there but you will.

Make sure batteries in all remotes are good then confirm each remote function, press buttons on remote by watching its front through digital camera, you will see blinking infra red LED on remote front, that means remote is sending signal.
If proscan remote found good and working then remote sensor in tv front could be defective that is not receiving remote signal. Replace it to solve the problem.

Use a YPbPR component connection to connect your Ps3 to your TV. You can find this product at Best Buy. Just tell them exactly what you are trying to do.

It will not work. The tv combo is too complicated for Jumbo to understand.

did you take the dvd out and put it in the correct way? Do that and you should be good to go.

For the issue with the built in DVD player, I would first try different types of DVD's to see if there is a problem with one type in particular. Check the Manufacturers website to see if there is a firmware update for your model (may not be applicable for your model). Try to use a DVD cleaner disk that is appropriate for the DVD player since it operates in a vertical position rather than a horizontal one.
