Unfortunately , Some DVD players cant read some DVD s and then it gives either "loading" or " no disc"..reading on the display...
it generally happens when you want to play "A copied DVD/CD " taken from somewhere else..
Just to make sure that such DVD is ok ,you can try to run them on your laptop.If the disc itself has problem, laptop does not read either..

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. Need a little more info,if it is a rear projection then I would have to have it in the shop. Several things can cause this with the three tubes. If not a rear projection then the problem is in the main board. Not much help but it is hard to do voltage checks without the set. Col. Dana Gillespie

The TV is in Picture-in-picture mode. The small picture is the last active source. The bigger area is the current source connection, but there's no signal. Read the manual about how to operate the Picture in Picture feature.
