Try using the power on/ off button on the tv. If it operates normally then the remote looks guilty

TV off a while, won't come on for a long while, when does lines in picture, and picture all jumbled up

if the audio works when first turned on and just the scree is gone then chances are its the Tcon. However if audio also takes a while then the main board would be suspect.

You listed the incorrect model # is it a E371VA? The power cord should lead you to the power supply board. The 3 prong cord plugs into the power supply. Power supplies are usually either on the lower left corner or towards the middle of the set.
