I have a 5 month

the door is not sensing that it is closed. open it and re close the door again, make sure it is closed all the way, if it is and it still gives you this error, unplugg the machine, close and open the door again, and plug it back in and try again. if this doesn't work, you'll need to have a repairman take a look at your washer.

No hot water flowing through

Hi,
First check the easy stuff....

Take the hose off of the back and make sure you have water flow there...
Check the screen where the hose hooks to the washer and make sure it is not plugged...
Then check for power to the "hot" solenoid valve... power and no water = valve bad...no power check back and find out why...usually bad timer/control board...

here are a couple of tips that I wrote that will expand on what I listed here, and give more detail on your problem...

We have Samsung WF448AAW steam,

Hi

This type of issues usually occur when the washer is unable to drain water completely, you can run your washer at its hottest temperature setting with 2 cups of vinegar inside the unit. After this take off the bottom front panel and clean it completely, also clean the drain hose and drain pump filter, the bleach marks should disappear after doing all this. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

How do you remove the

Actually there should be a little door you can access at the bottom front to clean out your pump filter, I'm including my washers pictures. 1) You first open the little door at the bottom. You do not need any tools, just something to drain the water in to. 2) Unscrew the hose closure, put your hose down into the drain bucket. Drain all the water out, you may have to empty the bucket so you can get the hose lower next time. 3) Next unscrew the filter itself. Get anything out inside the hole, in my case it was a toothpick, I take a paper towel and dry out any grit or hair. 4) Put your hose closure back on, it is held in a clip, Then screw the filter back in. That's it. I would also recommend cleaning out the drawers that hold soap, bleach and fabric softener. Also clean around the rubber ring, it will help your washer last longer. lanijo58_3.jpglanijo58_2.jpglanijo58_1.jpglanijo58_0.jpg Hope this helps you

There is a place water keeps running out of after

1.) Open the dispenser drawer and see if you see water running into it.
Please Post result.

2.) Now turn off the water supply valve....this supplies water to the back of the washing machine hoses. This is not on the machine. Simply follow the water hoses to the connections that are supplying water to the unit.

3.) If water has stopped entering the unit at the location you noted on your post, then turn on only one valve of the water supply that you have just turned off.Check to see if water is entering the location you posted.( give it 5 minutes ) If not turn on the other valve you have turned off...check to see if water is now entering the machine location that you posted (give it 5 minutes)

Please post results to all questions.

Thanks....

We have an as-yet unused

Hello, Welcome to FixYa I'm curious and must ask, as assuming would be wrong, have you removed the four transport bolts from the back ? Do you run the wash using only "HE" detergent ? And is the washer sitting on a solid surface and a non-slipping footing i.e. no teflon sliding pads under the footing/legs and lastly, are the adjustable feet/legs "locked" after adjusted ? Regards, Macmarkus :)

My clothes come out smelling terrible, what can I

Do a maintenance wash. Run the hottest programme WITH detergent but WITHOUT laundry in the machine. This will kill off any molds and bacteria that have taken up residence in your machine. Most of us do most of our laundry at 40 degrees or less, which isn't hot enough to kill all the germs.

Ideally you would use a powder that contains bleaching agents when you do a maintenance wash: it kills the germs more effectively. Washing liquids don't contain bleaching agents (another reason the molds survive), so powder is best to kill off molds etc.

Sometimes it takes a few maintenance washes before the machine starts to smell nice again. In the mean time, perfumed washing liquids can help, as can scented fabric conditioners.

Good luck!

Water in the detergent cup

Yes. There will be a bit of water in the tray. The best thing to do is empty the water out either into the washer or a sink. Then leave the tray drawer open as well as the washer door open. Mold can develop on front load washers just like it can with top loaders. Leaving the drawer and door open to dry will help to prevent this.

Should there be water left in the detergent

I have the same problem with my washer. Sometimes it helps to hold the drawer open for a few minutes and the water seems to drain. Keep the front door of the washer closed or the water will end up on the floor.

WF448AAP Drain hose short, door swings to left, washer on right?

plumbing in the wall is usually placed according to where your unit is going to be placed,..not the case here as i/you can see,..you should be able to get a piece of hose (from private appliance store) and an "insert coupling" (has little "barbs" on it so it stays put after you clamp it) and make your extension,...don't make it to long or to tight, you don't want tension on the hose,....baby sit this "custom repair" to insure it dosn't leak, ya know, watch a couple loads go thru it's cycle,......if you can't get this happening, you can have the drain in the wall moved,....not a big job if your drain is plastic. good luck.

MY Samsung washing machine WD0804W8 ECO BOBBLE not working

Here is a list of issues that are common https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/WD0804W8E1/XEU/ but you may need a replacement control panel now. If water/liquids ingressed the control board or a bad connection on the board has happened, that is another probable cause.

Does not take water after weight of loading clothes. Samsung WW80v9 top loader diamond drum checked water inlet filter, dirty, clean and replaced. Start machine, does the start up, but no water intake

Question edited for clarity. Check the water inlet solenoid. It sounds like it has failed. It should open and let the water in from an instruction from the controller.. https://www.google.com/search?q=Samsung+WW80v9+no+water ..
