I would check the connection to the main board as a backup error code can be caused by intermittant connectors.

Question edited for a lot more clarity. Question moved to Kyocera. Nothing to do with a fax card, just make sure the back door is closed. It is normally called the 'Bypass Door' and gives card stock a flat run.

The engineer says the printer is okay, so the problem must be deep in settings of the device sending the prints to the printer. Clean the feed rollers. Don't use refilled toner cartridges. Brand new OEM toner every time.
