I need help with my comp.
pl check whether renew of your product avaleble., if not upgrade to higher ver., and update virus def also.
I want the produtc Key
it should be indiacted in the label, that you had purhased, illegal ver works only for certain trial period, for activation it needs specific key to activate.

No, you can not.
With each release of a new product, Symantec changes its authentication algorithm to prevent piracy. That means your 2008 registration code will not match a legal registration code in the 2009 version because the data is interpreted differently.
If you want to upgrade to 2009, I'm sure Symantec will cut you a break. Most companies charge less when a customer attempts to upgrade the previous version of their newest product(s).

Solution 1: For a standalone PC install of QuickBooks
- Choose File > Utilities > Stop Hosting Multi-User Access.
- Close and reopen QuickBooks. QuickBooks should now open without error.
Solution 2: Rename the .nd file associated with the company data file:
- Search the computer for files with extension .nd (Example: *.nd).
- Locate the .nd files with the name of the company having trouble opening.
- Right-click the .nd file, click rename and type old at the end ( for example, company.nd would become company .nd.old).
- Open QuickBooks.
Solution 3: If you are running NOD32 Antivirus Software with Internet Monitor (IMON)
- On the computer where the QuickBooks data is stored, find the NOD32 program.
- Disable IMON functionality.
- Reboot the computer.

4. Select the appropriate antivirus version
