It's illegal to distribute copyrighted materials, even if you get the keys, you'll not be able to activate and update, so it's best to buy one. If you can't update, then the antivirus is useless since new viruses are being updated on the site database. Good luck.

If you want Norton... i.e. symantec. you can go to the symantec site (www.symantec.com) select the link for NORTON on the gray top bar. the next screen that appears, goto the Right side and in the Gray box. find the option for Norton Resources...

Check if its doing updates or running scans at random times. You can probably schedule them. See if this helps.

You don't need a password to uninstall it, or at least normally it shouldn't.
Download (as in Save, not Run) this http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Norton-Removal-Tool.shtml  , wait for the download to complete, unplug the internet cable, run the Removal Toll and follow instructions.

so your saying that you just paid for the norton software? Have you installed it yet? If so have you used your registration key to register your software? If you bought it online and then downloaded the program you just need to install it from there and then if they sent you an email with your registration key use that to register your product and have a full liscense.

When you install New Antivirus, after installing, the FIRST thing that it does is search, your entire computer for any traces of Virus, and will deal with them. The BEST AV, is Symantec Corporate, copy Ver 10 & up,, this actually works, is low on system resources, just Google for it, and download,

Buy one from Symantec.

You can download the program from Norton website and can get the activation key from your account on Symantec website. You can login to your account using the email address which you provided during initial registration.

.rar files are compressed files a bit like zip files, you have to extract the files first, you can use winrar or 7zip to do this (7zip is a free program)

1. Go to www.norton.com/n360 and save the file to your desktop
2. If you do not have the product key go to www.findmyorder.com get the product key, after placing the you must have received an email with the order number and product key.
3. Now go to www.norton.com/nrt and run the file. and follow the instruction. it will ask you to reboot the computer. after the reboot please double click on the file which we have saved on the desktop (N36S200.exe)
