Our company uses the PANASONIC KX-T7730 phone
if your pbx has a built in disa feature, then you need to programthe DIL (sys. pgm. # 418) to DISA-OGM 1. Then you need to record an OGM (program 9,1,1) to tell you customers that they can dial the ext.# directly.

When i transfer to another extension, the call is
The handset has been programmed to auto answer all or some calls. You will need to change it to normal answer mode via EXTN 20/21 whichever is your programming extension. To tell which one is your default extension it is usually the extension that will still work as a normal telephone in the event of a mains power failure.

How to set welcome greeting to panasonic KX-T7730
The 7730 is a smartphone (PT) that connects to a Panasonic Hybrid exchange such as the KTES824 as an EXTENSION not a CO.
When you say greeting do you mean a recorded greeting when calling the extension?
In the 824 switch you will need to activate the Automatic Attendant (AA) that is built-in

I would like to change the ring numbers on my
You need to enter the programming mode from the default EXTN usually 20 or 21 and change the timings of the ring counts, normally shown in seconds, adjust to 30 secs which should give you the amount of rings you need if not just go back and adjust the ringing counter seconds up until you find the length of time that suits your needs.

KX-T7431 try to dial out and dispaly says CO Not
What has happened is that the CO1 CO2 etc buttons have not been programmed to dial the access code for an outside line. You can do this manually by dialling 9 then the number you wish to call. You need to enter the programing mode from the default extension usually EXTN 20 or 21. You need to go into the options and assign the digit 9 and a pause (P). The system will allow you to set different options such as if someone is on CO1 and another user dials 9 from another extension, the system will then assign the next free exchange line, again this must be programmed via the default extension. Let me know if you need further help.

Line access code
To dial an outside (exchange) line you can either dial 9 followed by the number you want to reach or press a pre-programmed key on your handset that saves you from adding the digit 9. The access is normally assigned when your system is installed. Programming of the system can only be done from the first main extension on the system it is normally extension 20 or 21 (the extension that will work if there is a mains power failure), called the default extension. Some systems use different digits either 8 or 7 but the normal is 9. The digit 8 is normally used to pick up a ringing call from another extension. Should you need more help let me know :-) And of course I'd be grateful if you mark my advice accordingly if you have found it useful, thank you.

How do I change the time on a KX-T7730 phone?
Basically, there are 2 ways of programming the date
and time - the short way and the long way.
If you are using the KX-T7730 phone on a Panasonic
KX-Txx 308/824 system:
SHORT WAY:
From the Switcboard / Main telephone
( ext 101, 10 or 9 ) with the handset on the
cradle/hook:
1. Press PROGRAM 0
2. Enter Date and Time
( The format is: yymmdd,
1 to 7 1=Monday 2=Tuesday etc, hh:mm,
0 or 1 0=AM 1=PM ) see example
3. Press AUTO DIAL / STORE to save your changes
4. Press PROGRAM to exit program mode
EXAMPLE:
If the date and time is 3 February 2010 Tuesday 2:15 pm you will enter as follows:
100203 2 02:15 1
LONG WAY:
From the Switcboard / Main telephone ( usually ext 101, 10 or 9 ) with the handset on the cradle/hook:
1. Press PROGRAM * # followed by the system
password ( default is 1234).
2. Now press 000 and then SP-PHONE.
Enter the year.
3. Scroll to the month with the right scroll key
(located at the right bottom corner of the phone).
To change the month use the AUTO ANS / MUTE
button.
4. Now scroll right again and change the date and
day.
To change the day, again use AUTO ANS / MUTE
5. Scroll right again and the time will appear.
Set the time.
To change am/pm scroll to it, and again,
use the AUTO ANS / MUTE button.
6. Press PROGRAM to exit program mode and you
are done.
