I cannot find the

use your handy dandy test light. it's the easyest way. pretty cheap at autozone. remember, you will have one at 12volts constant, if you can't find one on the connector, tap your cigarette lighter. next turn on the key and find the switched 12volts and make sure it's the right one by turning power on and off. turn the lights on and off just to make sure you didn't get the illumination wire.

TRYING TOO BY PASS ANTI-THIEF DEVICE ON 2000 CHEVY

If you're talking about the alarm, it's in the programming. There are 4 modes, depending on your model.
Mode 2 has delayed illumination, auto door lock, last door close/lockout detterent
Mode 3 has all those plus remote driver's door unock
Mode 4 adds the remote lock/unlock confirmation, content theft, content theft arming/disarming

Enter progam mode by
1. remove the BCM PRGRM fuse from the instrument panel fuse block.
2. Close the driver's door.
3. Turn the ignition key towards you, to ACC
4. Count the number of chimes you hear. You will hear two to four chimes depending on the features your vehicle is equipped with.

You are now in program mode...
With the content theft-deterrent system, if anyone damages or enters your vehicle whie the system is armed, the horn will shound and your parking lamps will flash for two minutes. The content theft shock sensor detects if anyone damages your vehicle. The shock sensors sensitivity can be adjusted by your dealer if more or less sensitivity is desired.

Mode 1: damage detection w/ reduced sensitivity
Mode 2: damage detection off (alarm only sounds when door is opened)
mode 3: feature off
mode 4: damage detection with Normal sensitivity

To change modes, enter the program mode, turn the parking lamps on and off, count the number of chimes you hear, that is which mode your vehicle is in. you can change the mode by turning the parking lamps on and then off again. Repeart turning lamps on/off untill you hear the numer of chimes you want.

The mode is now set, you can either exit, or program another feature.

To exit, turn thekey from acc to off and put the BCM PRGRM fuse back.

Where can i find the fuse for the radio on a 1998

If its a factory radio, the fuse will be in the fuse box (typically located on the left side panel of the dash or under the steering column)

If its an aftermarket unit there will be an in-line fuse on the units power lead(s)

Scosche SCDBTA60A when hooked up to the wiring in my truck will not power on the head come on when first plugged in and then shuts off

Believe me that is only the start of your problems, the unit is one of the most disappointing things I have ever bought, it doesn't work using a memory stick either using the buttons or the app it needs a complete rewrite of both firmware and software and Scosche tell me they are not rewriting either so tough luck!! Check other forums for other opinions but whatever you do don't buy it.

Hey i have a scosche in-line fuse block i purchased. I haven't had any problems until recently. My fuse fried. So i bought more and went to replace it and every fuse i try instantly fries. i cant seem

Most likely the amplifier you have hooked up to that fuse position is defective and causing the fuse to blow. Or you have a short in the powerline somewhere. Disconnect the power wire from the amplifier, tape up the end so it won't short out to anything. Replace the fuse, if it doesn't blow then you will need to get the amp checked, if it does blow, then you have a short somewhere along your power wire.
