Hello, Joyce - I have no idea what medical procedure on your eye you are referring to with the phrase "film vacuum from my eye." Are you asking about surgery to remove a cataract from your eye? If so, then, based on my husband's experience, the answer is no. His doctor's office made sure he had a driver (me) to drive him from his out-patient cataract surgery. They were required by law to make sure he did not drive himself from his surgery appointment. I suggest you contact your doctor's office and ask your question. The quick release is actually built into the tripod head, so you may need to replace the entire head. If it has standard 1/4" thread, this should be quite simple.

With all the problems this camera has and the cheap price of cameras its time to consider an upgrade to a new camera. It will cost more to repair than to replace it. Ive just seen several like this on ebay under $10 or you could join the 21st century and get a digital camera.

any Equatorial tripod will do the job for that telescope. Even a normal camera tripod will work.

What camera is it? On most older film cameras you lift the rewind crank to release the back or a separate lock for the back. Not having a film in will not affect the back opening mechanism. Check the book for your camera.

I had the same problem a few minutes ago. You don't need to unscrew any of the fixing but make sure the larger silver bolt is not tight. The instructions are: 1. Use your thumb to push down the silver lever to the left of the spirit level. 2. Whilst holding this lever down slide the top of the top of the quick release mechanism to the right (looking at the spirit level) and it should come off. Once you do it you'll know how much force to apply in future. If this doesn't work try loosening the large bolt a little more. You can safely remove it, but remember to replace it as it is used for locking the quick release. Note that the locking only starts after this bolt is turned 2-3 times, before this the quick release should work fine.

Do you really think that it's the Best tripod? I mean, I used it quite a while and I didn't find it that comfortable. Actually, I'm struggling now with finding a proper one. I almost don't use a tripod for now because I can't pick the one that will suit me.

depends on how you have it --on a disc or usb stick or from the met for the net go to the download for win 7 32 bit down load and save after that click on it and when the instruction opens click on run and let the wizard do the rest for disc , install the disc , go to computer and click on the drive that the disc is in if it is auto running , wait and let the wizard to the job if on a stick go to the computer install the stick , click on the usb listed ( removable item , click on run and let the wizard do the job
