Hi Tom,
The redel cable made by Penny and Giles Drive Technology is available from them in a number of custom lengths. The only limiting factor is that you need to have a dealer account with them. Check out their website at pgdt.com.
I think you can order a custom length at The After Market Group at aftermarketgroup.com. They should be able to take your order and turn it around into a custom order from Penny and Giles. The other alternative is to order the longest stock length which I think is about 5 feet and splice several together.
You can do a web search for redel cable and order the length you need and make it yourself for a lot cheaper than going through medical equipment suppliers. The retail cost of a standard 3, 4, or 5 foot cable is over $120 so you will reap great savings by doing some research on-line.
Hope this helps.

GAdams You need to count the number of flashes. The number of flashes will give you the flash code or error code. IE: 3 flashes pause 3 flashes pause etc. = left motor short If you have your owners manual it should list the flash codes and what they mean for your chair. If not you can contact Pride Mobility @ 1-800-800-8586 and ask for Tech Support. If medicare paid for your chair the they will pay most of the repair cost. Contact the provider where you got your chair to see if they can repair it or refer you to a service Company that can. Hope this helps
I have a Jazzy 14 xl when plugged in the charger
same thing as the other fellows problem Batteries!! the charger is supplying the power to light up the joystick but when not plugged in the batteries are so low they can't turn your chair on. Replace both batteries good luck Hope this helps
Replaced a battery turn switch
Not a lot of information to go by but the click you hear is the brake releasing but you are not getting anything to the motor. Usually with Pride it is the freewheel lever or levers are in the freewheel rather than drive. Check to make sure levers are in the drive position. If they are in drive then the joystick lights should be flashing an error code. Also make sure that the charger is not plugged in. Thats not much help but I went by the info you gave Hope this helps
Pride mobility celebrity 3 wheel
Hi,
This problem could occur due to various reasons. So lets find out what could be the cause.
1)Check lever is in correct place.Levers control the switch that controls the brake.if the brake is disabled this will stop the scooter from moving forward or backward.
2) Check the brush in the motor,If it is stuck release it and tighten the caps.
3)Thumb levers that control forward and reverse motions.See the the lever is not detective one and it is working properly.Take apart and check the wiring connections.
4)Check free Wheel lever is jammed which is located on the drive motor, and check the lever is not bent.
5)throttle lever is worn out sometimes you have to replace it.
post a comment for further assistance.
Thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)
Disconnecting and reconnecting the cord attached
laurel you probably have no battery voltage. If the batteries have been in the chair for awhile and haven't been kept up then you will need to replace them. The batteries you need are U1 and you need 2 of them. Hope this helps
How do i disconnect the
It's a software switch. Any Pride dealer will have a programmer gadget that can turn it off.
Lights blinking
If chair is in freewheel it won't move until you move the levers to the drive position usually in rear behind the motors
Jazzy battery lights will not light and the car
check there is power in the batteries, if so check all wiring for breaks loose fittings, fuse trip switch etc, failing that it may well be the controller, hope it is not that as they are not cheap.
The joystick is not sensitive enough, there is a
The Jazzy wheelchairs have programmable controller. This includes the length of the pause before moving, speed, acceleration speed and deacceleration speed. You usually need a programmer to change the programming. You supplier should have one. For your nearest supplier have a look at the pridemobility website:

I think my charger isn't charging the batterys
Have someone check if the on board charger light is green after you have charged it all night. Most probably you have a charger problem and this will also create a battery problem since you haven't been charging them with a bad chargger. If medicare purchased your chair then you can find a repair service to repair your chair and Medicare will pay for most of the repair
Charger on, chair won't charge, pushed in reset,
What do the lights on the joystick do when you turn it on with the charger plugged in? If the lights are not scrolling then the chair is not recognizing the charger. If they are scrolling the charger is the issue. If you can try another charger.
Wheel chair just stopped as if the switch shut off
Most of the Shopriders use a PG Drives VSI joystick/contoller which incorporates the controller into the same case as the joystick. It will have a large wire about 7/8" diameter coming out of the joystick if it is this type. You probably didn't blow the circuit breaker as there wouldn't be any lights, and all of the fuses should be okay too for same reason, but go ahead and check them. If They are all good, then you most likely fried the VSI joystick/controller. Here's a link to PG Drives site.

There are two levers just under the seat at the
front. Pull the forward and to right to lock position, which will release the
gear so that the wheelchair can be move about without any electric power. Bear
in mind though that releases the gear, still too heavy to push as normal
wheelchair. Give a go, to find out for yourself.
