What happens when you enter demonstration program?
If you haven't the demo program yet, you may run the demo using these steps:
-Turn off the unit for about 3 seconds.
-turn the power back on then quickly press the following button in exact sequence: FAN, LIGHT, FAN, LIGHT, FAN
A multi-tone signal will verify the test program and will operate/test the functions of your fan. Turn off the fan to stop the test.
Let me know the result. Thanks.
I have a Casablanca Intelli touch ceiling fan.
My fan operates the same way. To reverse it, turn it on a low speed. Then, turn it off and on, then off and on again, quickly. You should hear a series of beeps, and the blades will slow down and then reverse. You may have to play a bit with the timing of the off/on/off/on sequence to get it right but you should be able to get it fairly easily.
I have a wall switch, top button for lights, second
Replace the switch. When Power Company electricity goes out and comes on by itself, it often "Surges" frying small electronic components. This is what happened. No biggie...happens all the time. Be sure to turn off power to the switch in your breaker box first.
Have power to fan connections, but fan and light
It could be either, but here's something easy to check first. Look inside the remote. You should see a small rectangle with several (usually 4-6) extremely tiny switches on it (called DIP switches) The receiver inside the fan shroud has one as well. The switches must be in the same pattern to work. It doesn't really matter what the pattern is, as long as it is the same. (that is for setting the frequency to prevent interference if there are several near each other)

This is actually a Delta
it is the flywheel. I ordered one directly from the Casablanca web site, took the fan down and find the parts are pressed together. Looks like it needs some heavy tools or a jig of some kind. Any suggestions?
