Lid Issue
Hi, Same issue, the options you have are, 1) Now there available in market are the no-glass-lids you may find and buy just the lid. 2) Go to a window-glass shop and get one cut in the same measurement and fix it, but this is risky one as the glass may brittle for less pressure depending on the quality of the glass 3) as I couldn't find option 1(in Gurgaon) and option 2 failed, I took a microwave suitable plastic plate, and cut(siccissors) it in the same shape and replaced with it within the screws, and its perfect.

Does steam tray/lid go on top or bottom of rice cooker?
The steam tray as you call it goes on the inside bottom of the cooker.
It's purpose is to keep the cooking rice separated from the heating element during the steaming process.
The basic measurement is 2 parts water to 1 part rice. Add a quarter cup more water for brown rice. The automatic shut-off won't turn off until the water is gone. It's magic!
Cleaning; soak the cook pot and perforated plate to remove rice goo
DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL PADS or abrasive cleanser. I use a nylon dish cleaning brush to remove the stuck on brown material.

Steamer/rice cooker
you can put at least 3 glasses of water.(depends on how big your glass is).
its up to your prefernce when you want to put the food. but it much better to put the food when the water starts to boil.
hope this helps!
cheers!

Panasonic SD-YD250 turns off in middle of cycle
Here are some possible reasons why your Panasonic SD-YD250 bread maker might be turning off in the middle of a cycle:
Power Interruption: If there is a power interruption during the baking process, the bread maker will turn off automatically. To avoid this, ensure that the power supply is stable and uninterrupted throughout the baking process.
Overheating: If the bread maker overheats, it will turn off automatically to prevent damage to the machine. Ensure that the bread maker is placed in a well-ventilated area and not near any heat sources.
Faulty Power Cord: If the power cord is damaged or faulty, it can cause the bread maker to turn off in the middle of a cycle. Check if the power cord is damaged or frayed and replace it if necessary.
Faulty Control Panel: If the control panel is faulty, it can cause the bread maker to turn off in the middle of a cycle. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for assistance.

Panasonic sd-yd250 does not mix raisins after the beep that signals the time you're supposed to put the raisins in
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Panasonic sd-yd250 bread machine. It sounds like you're having an issue with the raisins not being mixed into the dough properly. There are a few things you can try to fix this problem.
First, make sure you're adding the raisins at the right time. Most bread machines have a beep that sounds when it's time to add mix-ins like raisins. You should add the raisins when you hear the beep, and not before.
If you're adding the raisins at the right time and they still aren't being mixed in properly, try coating the raisins in a little bit of flour before adding them to the dough. This will help them to incorporate more evenly into the dough.
Another option is to add the raisins after the bread machine has finished mixing the dough. Once the dough is mixed, you can remove it from the machine, stir in the raisins by hand, and then shape the dough and place it in the loaf pan. This will ensure that the raisins are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
I hope this helps! If you're still having trouble, you may want to contact Panasonic for additional assistance.
