i found a solution on fixya via the online user manual etc guide...
got my uniden to ring my cell phone, now gotta figure out how to do that many more times :)

Someone said to go to right side at the base of phone.......do you mean m1, m2, m3? What does that mean? I tried m3 and nothing changed. Carmen

how do i change the greeting on my digital recorder

Click on Menu on the base
click on the forward >> or backward << keys until it says the day of the week
click on set/ringer soft key
use forward >> or backward << to adjust the time and AM/PM
when you are done either click menu or wait and it automatically goes back to normal.

You need to restart the phone, take out the battery and restart it.

Increase the # of rings before the fax picks up so that it's greater than the # of rings before the answering machine picks up. When you're expecting a fax, turn off the answering machine.

how do you conf call another caller ? does this have 3 way calling?

We followed your instructions and are not sure what worked, however, this AM phone line is working.

he charge/in use light on the base of your phone flashes whenever you have messages waiting in your voice mailbox for voicemail through your phone company. You may need to occasionally reset the indicator if it remains on after you have retrieved your messages. To reset the indicator, press and hold find handset for 5 seconds.

Press and hold "end" and "#" for more than 5 seconds this will de-register your handset without the base unit.

I have a Uniden 2.4GHz Cordless phone.
I need to rececord my greeting on my Answer Machine but have lost my instruction book and dont know which button to press .
Can you help

have you tried a hard reset. please leave the phone plugged off from wall power for one night and then try starting.

this may start the phone normally and problem will get solved many times.

Pls check if the intercom function works. If yes, then the base is simply waiting for the presence of a dialtone on the telephone line. It would be required to check your telephone wire connections. Further, if you have an extension telephone, pls verify that indeed you have dialtone along the same line. In most instances, you may need to contact your phone provider to verify service.

If no intercom function, it may simply need pairing again or redo the initial install setup.
