Genie 2042-TK QuietLift 800 1/2 HP DC Belt Garage Door Opener wit - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Elite SL3000 opens, buts does not close. amps rise on when trying to close, and will close when i push on it a liitle. thanks G
It sounds like there may be an issue with the opener mechanism on your Elite SL3000 fence gate. The fact that the gate opens but does not close, and that the amps rise when trying to close, suggest that there may be a problem with the motor or gear assembly. Additionally, the fact that the gate closes when you push on it a little suggests that there might be a problem with the alignment of the gate or with the gate's track.
Possible causes for this issue include a faulty opener motor, a problem with the gear assembly, or a problem with the alignment of the gate.
Here are some steps you can try to fix the problem:
- Check the alignment of the gate: Make sure that the gate is properly aligned with the gate post and that the hinges are not bent.
- Check the gate's track: Make sure that the gate's track is clear of any debris and that the rollers are not worn out.
- Check the opener motor: Make sure that the opener motor is functioning properly and that the gear assembly is not stripped.
- Check the battery: Make sure the battery that is powering the opener is charged and in good condition.
- Check the settings: Make sure that the gate opener settings are correct and that the gate is set to close automatically.
If you are not comfortable with these steps or the problem persists, it's best to contact Elite customer service or a fence/gate professional for further assistance.

What is the best fence I can use for my dog?
First, try to get a fence made from a durable material like aluminum or a wire fence. Of course you will compromise the looks...don't get a wooden fence unless it is more expensive since big dogs tend to ruin them

The centurion gate motor open by itself how can I fix that problem please
Do you have sensors that stop the gate closing on people or cars ? If so put your ear near the sensor but not inline with the opposite one. Now gently wave your hand in front of it .... if there is no click then something is obstructing the beam. Sometimes spiders get inside and spin that candy floss type web in there .

I am having trouble with my Elite CSW-200-UL gate on my driveway. It has randomly been responding to the remotes and then I had to punch in the code to make it work. Now it is not responding.
The first place to look is your receiver. This is the device, often separate from the actual gate operator, that responds to your transmitter. Stand next to the gate operator and you should hear a small click coming from the receiver when you or someone else pushes the button.
You can sometimes find the receiver by following the antenna cable back to it. If it does not have an external antenna, look inside the operator box for either an antenna screwed into the receiver or a wire hanging from a plastic box.
If you hear the click and the gate does not open, the possibilities grow exponentially so we won't try to address every possibility here. If you hear a click when you are close, but not when the transmitter is triggered at a distance, check the antenna.
If you don't hear the click, then either the remote has lost programming (this often happens with rolling codes transmitters when they are not used for a long time), or the receiver is not working.
Check to make sure the receiver is getting plenty of power power using a meter. It should read at the recommended voltage or a bit higher. Usually around 24 volts but some receivers can work down to 12 volts. If it gets plenty of power and the remotes have been programmed back in, consider replacing the receiver.

Led lights that glow when power is off?
I think you should hire a competent electrician. your question indicates you aren't qualified or competent to work on electric power, and it could cause a fire.
