Hello nita... I believe the fact that the remote stopped working is due to a weak battery in the remote. Change that battery and you should be back up and running. Joe

burnish the connections on the remotes battery connectors with a wooden nail board,they operate on only 3.0 volts d.c. and any invisible corrosion will hinder current passage,do the same with the battery end contacts

Has this just started happening or has it been going on since the fan/light was set up? If there are two wall switches, one controlling the fan and one controlling the lights and they have recently been installed, seems like the fan is getting its power from the light switch. Please tell me if there are two wall switches controlling the fan and lights and we can go from there.

I have to assume a bit here. If you have 2 black and 2 white in the ceiling, then the proper way to connect would be . the white that is the run from the panel, the powedr white connects to the fan white ... the power black connects to the other white wire (put some black tape on that white wire) and the other black connects to the fan black .. if you hacve a meter you can test the wires and see which pair has the 120 volt power.

There is usually a blank cover that comes with tyhe fan when new, but when installing a light kit they usually get trashed ,, Try any bnuilding supply store that stocks the Hunter fans ,, bring the part for the light fixture so you can get the exact size and mounting screw araingement as the old kit .

Are you talking about just activating the fan, or the tv as well? If you just need the fan, in the top plate where your fan is mounted into the ceiling, there is a box. This box has 4 switches that are turned on or off towards a number. You find that and then just open your remote up and set the switches in the remote to the identical numbers. I need help for the tv codes i lost the booklet, i need the codes for a daewoo.
