Mc Culloch power washer FH140A The "on/off"
easiest way to fix it, buy a new switch at a home improvement center, the two metal piece go on the bottom and the springs are on top of them, when the switch is in the off position the metal pieces are up off the contacts on the bottom and when on the on position the metal pieces make contact. I have a McCulloch 1-Inch 1 HP 26cc 2-Cycle Gas
There are two things to check for. One, vaccum might be created in the tank only allowing the unit to run a few minutes. If it starts to die after running a few minutes, removing the gas cap. If it keeps running, you need a new gas cap. Otherwise your problem is in the carb. It could be bad gas that was in there before or you have debris in the carb itself which only allows the unit to run on choke. Make sure if you have a fuel shutoff valve that it is on.

Run diagnostics.
Settings > System > Diagnostics
If no problem found, try System Reset.
Settings > System > Reset > Reset System > Cancel or Reset System
IMPORTANT!Resetting the system will return your interface to the original factory default settings. This will also delete any custom configurations or settings.
