the easiest fix is to change the sending unit

It has a fuel pump relay and fuse. No reset tho. Can you hear the fuel pump kick on? If no than try changing the fuse or it could be other sensors that are not properly placed causing the fuel pump not to work. Another possibility would be putting a bad fuel pump in place of a bad fuel pump. Was the fuel tank cleaned when it was done? If not it could have debris floating around in the fuel pump causing it to do that.

Well drop the tank, and replace the whole assembly from the dealer, not some junk part from like autozone. It is actually relativly simple.

you have to get under the truck and remove the gas tank. be careful removing the lines before you completley remove gas tank. then you can get to the top of the tank and remove the pump and sending unit. they are both held in the same housing

it sounds like a bad sending unit. i would try replacing that

I would check the relay, providing that I know that i am actually getting fuel to to the pump. May have been your problem in the first place. Rick

Maybe you need reset. Take battery out of phone and wait about 10 minutes, and unplug your phone from the power source.
