Check for spark, there may be a "Kill Switch" or a key somewhere that needs to be turned in order for the motor to run. If you turn the motor over with a spare spark plug in the plug wire touching the tip of the spark plug that is in the motor it should show a spark. (It is best to do this in the dark to see the spark clearly)

Look for a fuel valve that shuts off the flow of gas typically located between the gas tank and the carburetor. Some carburetors have a float bowl drain at the bottom so you can drain the gas out for storage. If your carburetor has a drain bolt you can unscrew it and see if gas comes out.

Check for a choke lever or pull knob either on the carburetor or sometimes on the handlebars. I have also seen a primer bulb on the two stroke carburetors that act as a fuel enrichment for starting a cold motor.

Since it is new we can assume it has compression but it doesn't hurt to check it. Remove the spark plug, place your finger over the spark plug hole and turn the motor, if there is good compression your finger will pop off from the pressure.

If you have good spark, good compression and gas in the carburetor bowl chances are your carburetor jets are clogged. I would spray a small amount of starter fluid or a small squirt of gas into the back side of the carburetor after removing the air filter. If it runs for a few seconds then stops the problem is in the carburetor but most often the motor will continue to run and just needed priming. If it does not run on it's own there might be some debree in the float bowl obstructing the delivery of fuel but that is very rare for a new carburetor

The lower of the 2 screws is the fuel/ air mixture- the upper screw is the idle adjust screw

I think you might want to change catagories, I found this under Bicycles. Also, I was curious as to how you can list it as a Quad Bike . . . Bike is a short term for Bicycle, Bi meaning 2 as in 2 wheels.

I don't know what carb you have but the set screw is normally turned all the way in and then out 1 1/4 turns. Then fine tune in 1/4 turn increments. The float... If you have one. Turn the carb upside down. bent the tab on the float so the float is 1/8 of an inch from touching the carb. That should work for you.

The choke is on the carb. Check if the carb set screw is set right, turn it all the way in and then back out 1 1/4 turns. then fine tune by 1/4 turn increments.

Resistance in the assembly

I would need to see the parts really but you should be able to see how it works by checking the way it needs to connect to the flywheel on the machine and how the sprockets are designed.

I think you want to put a light on it??? you will need to install a battery to do it right. BUT you can run a LED light right off the magnito. connect to the wire to the wire on the mag that goes to the kill button, Start the engine and check the voltage, if it is more than 14 Volts you need to install a rectifier to drop the voltage down. You can do it with a good resistor if its not too high. Remember... the engine is designed to make enough power to run the engine only. A LED light uses 1/5 the power of a incandescent light so that might work for you.

you need to squeeze the rings together to get them started into the cylinder that's all. You can do that with a tin can. Cut the top and bottom out of a can that has no ripples. slit it down the side. Wrap it around the piston rings and use a hose clamp to compress the rings enough to get them in. you will find that you cannot put the clamp too tigh because you need the piston to slide out of it. Oh, BTW oil the tin can so the piston slides out easier.

I would suggest you look at it as one circuit at a time. I don't know what is on the bike like for example, horn, tail light, head light, brake lights, you get the idea. the main thing to know is that the wire from the magnito is simply grounded to shut the engine down. So wire it that way, either with a key switch or push button, or toggle switch kill switch.

The electric choke on that unit I believe is better called a fuel richener. It does not choke, it gives more fuel. it works like a solenoid so if it is not working make sure it it getting power.

None if you pull the plug wire to shut it down. Disconnect the wire from the magnito that goes to the ignition switch. it will run without it

most likely carb setting. Try turning the carb set screw all the way in and back out 1 1/4 of a turn. then adjust by 1/4 of a turn to fine tune it.
