It lights up but doesnt put out sound
A friend of mine had the exact same problem. In his case the pedal is only good for hammering nails now. If it still has it warranty I'd say look into that, if not you've got nothing to lose. Open it up, look for unattached wires. Also, try using a battery instead of an AC adapter..

I have a Digitech wammy 4 v pedal the led light are going out i have 3 lights left how can i fix the led light the pedal works fine with out the lights
Check the burned out LEDS with a 3 volt battery- a computer bios battery works well for these. If they do not light, which is likely, just replace them with similar sized units. You can even change their color too. Measure the voltage at the LED sodler pads to see if it is more than 3 volts, if it is, add a resistor to drop the voltage and limit current to the replacements. Digikey sells them, and they ship around the world http://www.digikey.com or Mouser, Both are based in the US, I am not sure what Mouser's international shipping is. http://www.mouser.comIf there is no voltage at the LED pads, look for bad solder connections, or burned out resistors. If the few remaining LEDs still operate as they should, the level meter chip "should" be okay.
Can a keyboard synthesizer play thru the DigiTech
The short answer is NO. The MIDI connection does NOT carry audio, only commands. You must connect synth audio outputs to the inputs of the RP2000 and use the audio coming out of the RP2000 to have the effects.

The most likely case is that one of the main output transistors (if which there are many) is shorted. When the protect circuit senses DC on the final output, it will not allow the output relay to come on to protect the speakers from raw DC. With the power removed, you can check between each outputs Emitter and Collector and you will probably find close to zero ohms. From that point you need to unsolder each of the pins of the bad channel until you find the shorted device(s) and replace them.
