The vocal cuts out completely from time to time. Comes back after a while but keeps cutting out at intervals. Have two of these and both do it. Is it my set up, is it overload in some way. Guitar ok.

The amp or pre-amp for the vocals built into the unit is failing when it gets warm. This is a common problem with electronics, that when it cools down cures itself until it warms up again a few seconds later. The units need repair or replacement.

My harmonizer powers up but does nothing else, and there's no display.

I hope that I'm wrong but my Boss GT-6 pedal went south on a firmware update and is now a door-stop. Good luck.

Hi I have a vhf digitech AM-4071 wireless microphone system and the problem is that both microphones are going only through one RF, on the transmitter. The second mic goes but its not receiving on tr

You need to check that they are both operating on different channels there should be a switch or POT on the microphone and possibly one on the reciever. If they are static or preset you need to swap one for the other channel. Some (usualy cheap) mics have a preset or static channel often ch-A and ch-B, there should be one of each in the box. If you bought the extra body packs they will also come with the preset channels.- thegorisb

The digitech vocalist live 2 ,the left side button(reverb, enhancer) , activates the right side (harmony) LED's on the circuit board itself are lit up and nothing happens. t

The buttons are probably scanned as a matrix and possibly a circuit board has been cracked causing wrong data to go to the microprocessor in it. It is unlikely this will be a DIY fix so you should contact Digitech for a repair facility.

Distortion on vocal reproduction on

You need to check the actual signal levels to make sure they are within the specs for the unit. The mic input is low impedance. Your mic should be like a Shure SM58 or equivalent. The output is fairly high... up to +14DB which will require you to turn down the trims on a mixer this runs into or set a -20Db pad at the input. I suspect your distortion is from the device output to the mixer input. It is VERY important that the mic does NOT "hear" the speakers as the feedback loop resulting will be mass distortion. The guitar should also not "hear" the mains.

Vocalist live 2 problem. power

NO power light or audio from Digitech Vocalist 2 live. Check that your power adapter is for 9 Volts AC (not DC like most pedals) and is rated at 1300ma or more. A DC adapter MAY light up the unit but not make it pass audio. Lights can be lit but that is NOT an indication thaat correct power is applied. They likely use the AC input to generate both positive and negative voltage within the unit. The use of a DC adapter will prevent generating one of these required voltages and prevent audio from passing.

I was using my digitech vocalist live 2 pedal

Yeah I have an idea... It is likely static electric discharge. At this time of the year we get zapped touching metal things and it also drives electronics nuts... You don't even have to feel it to get zapped.

Try using in your bare feet and see if it fusses... We had a lady vocalist wearing those ugg boots and caused static pops in her microphone... anyway try the test and if it fixes the problem, then look up Staticide spray... You can get it at Amazon.com for example... spray floor in the area you are playing on to kill the static.

The only other thing is to check if wiggling the power input plug causes the problem. Those plugs are notorious for poor connections when they wear.

No vocal sound

It sounds like the guitar level input to the unit is too low.

NOTE: With this product you MUST use an amplified or electric guitar that has a preamp within it.

If you have a straight guitar that does not have an amp in it, buy a preamp to first run the guitar through.

Power supply for vocalist 2 goes bad twice

Likely the supply was underated OR it is getting hit with a transient. Transients are common in some venue power systems.

There should be a label on the unit as to what the power requirements are. Make sure the power adapter is rated for that or more CURRENT in amps or milli-amps.

Are you sure the power supply has failed? There could be an intermittent in the unit, most likely with the inout power jack... They often get damaged by tripping over the power cord.

To check for a temperature related problem, try putting it in the freezer for a while then bring it out and see if it affects the noise. If it does, then problem can be found with circuit cooler mist.

Digitech rp6

Try contacting their service center rep at (801)566-8800. They might send you a schematic for the pedal if you explain your situation. They do recommend using the original power supply PS0912 which should still be available. Hope this helps.
