Unwired UFR650 (14 Channels) 2-Way Radio Questions & Answers

What's the channel frequencies for a common 22 channel motorola 2 way vhf radio?
Not sure what you want.....VHF band ius approximatly 130mhz to 175 mhz..... in that VHF band there is a commercial VHF band aprox. 155 mhz to 175...... the amateur radio vhf band is aprox. 135 to 150mhz.
With amateur radio, any freq in that range can be used...... with commercial radio the FCC cangive a company any freq. in that range also.
If you are looking for FRS/GMRS frequencies they are UHF freqs not VHF.
So I'm not sure exactly what you want......sounds like you might want to program in FRS freqs into an Icom amateur radio. If thats the case you will need an Icom that will do UHF freqs.

DW505 type 3: What is the resistance specification for armature opposing pole pairs? Also, isn't each pair supposed to be isolated from the other?
Measuring across the commutator opposites is a rough check - if each pair has the same resistance it is probably good but even then there are no guarantees. I have never seen the armature resistance stated for any motor though that doesn't mean such figures don't exist.
It would seem logical that each pair should be isolated but that generally is not how the armature is wired and each commutator segment is the termination of two coils.
In reality there is only three ways to test an armature - either build it into a motor and see if it performs ok, use an automated motor fault analysis machine or one of the dedicated armature testers such as an armature growler.

Need a schematic for a victrola radio model vta 750
The fashion for nostalgia radio with a modern sound has brought about a clutch of models from only a few manufacturers.
I have only encountered one such that was basically an in-house cabinet with bought in internals, the quality of which was probably reflected in the price and as this was from the lower price bracket the internals were from different sources and badly matched.
I know of no reason to assume other models would be substantially different because although popular they haven't sold in the high numbers that would justify purpose built internals and so the chances are an experienced audio engineer would probably recognise the circuit board as being from a popular hi-fi and be able to provide you with details.

These radios are great but why put talkback on a radio when itll only work on am..we use fm mainly in the uk..is there anyway of modding it so itll work on fm please
The short answer is no -- the difference between AM and FM is too great though some CB radios were made dual mode, like the President Veep I used to own.
Some CBs that found the way into Britain were powerful sidebanders that offered similar capabilities to unlicensed CB-ers to that official radio hams had to sit exams to enjoy. Some radio hams found it cheaper to have those top-line CBs modified for use on the 11 metre amateur band.
It would be no help to you to obtain a standard FM CB as when the UK was forced to legalise CB radio under the Treaty of Rome, they legalised it at a different frequency as the American frequency was already allocated to radio control, bleepers and other things. Special CB sets were manufactured for the UK market.
