Time to change it out. Think about using a swivel when you put the new line on. that helps the twisting, but also affects how the bait works. You also should use a more expensive line. Take it apart. Blow or vac the adjuster area. Better off doing the entire reel cleaning. Then lube and put it back together My answers are short and sweet. Common sense mostly. Hi,
Firmly grasp the "cone" the end where the line comes through and twist counter clockwise. It will unscrew from the rest of the reel. The cone will slide down the line out of the way .
Good Luck,
Wayne

Unscrew the front cone. While holding the handle unscrew the spinner head and remove from the reel. The quick change spool will have an arrow to show the direction that you twist it off. That's about all their is to it.
