Remove the first screw, peel back the 12 amp sticker, remove the second screw, use a screwdriver to pry the top and both sides of the cover. The cover should now be free, then remove the grommet that holds the power and throttle cable to the cover to completely remove it.

Take it to Home Depot and ask for a replacement if it was just purchased , otherwise just let them repair it.

what kind of cultivator??? sounds like oil on the cutch or broken clutch need more info.

Sounds to me like there is either a connection fault Or a Safety Cut out Switch that keeps.... well..... Cutting out or In as the case would Be. A Google search on the Make & Model number on your Ryobi Ry40500 electric Chainsaw Could bring up some answers. My Guess is the Safety Guard Cut out safety Switch is faulty.

Take the machine apart and first check the status of the switch if it's attached. Follow the power chord to the bottom of the trimmer and ensure that they are attached as the detach due to strain

The same answer as I replied yesterday. You use a flywheel extractor kit or a 3 legged puller.
