probably heater, alot of older spas/jacuzzi have a circulation pump connected to the heater. when the heater starts to heat and gets to hot or draws too much load - it shuts down.

this happened to mine and I had to replace the heater?

20 is a good number. You have a 1.5 motor and 1.5 or 2.0 pipe?

The 'toothed' edge goes on top with the teeth facing towards the motor. You will also notice the small support arm in the plastic is narrower than in the other areas of the bracket. That lines up with the seal plates locating tabs so everything is then lined up correctly for the insertion into the housing.

i have the same model after unplugging everything one by one i got the breaker to stay on with the transformer unplugged. ordered new transformer installed works great!!

The pump will not shut off until it reachs the pressure switch cut out setting. if the pump is converted for deep well with the injector in the well your not likely to get more then 40 psi. If the pressure switch is a 20 to 40 you might have to adjust the cut out pressure to 38 psi if the pump is making the maximum output pressure the line to the pressure switch is likely plugged. if that line is clear the switch is faulty,replace it. if the pump is not getting up to pressure the injector is likely plugged or greatly reduced.

If you have any clamp on amperage meters, you need to see what the amperage draw on the circuit is when it is running. This will tell you if something is wrong with the pump circuit. It could be anything from a bad capacitor to an impeller obstruction.

Impeller may be broken or clogged. Turn the pump off and remove the basket. Reach back into the pump with your fingers and see if you feel debris. If you can't reach or if there is debris you will need to open the back of the pump, take off the diffuser, and clean out the impeller.
