Adding memory

Without providing the manufacturer and model number of your motherboard you have your CPU installed into, it will not be possible to answer your question. If you do not know the model of your motherboard, you can normally find it printed on the top surface of the board. I have included a link to a website that can provide information on identifying your motherboard model number: How do find what computer motherboard have

Driver softwares needed

You should be able to download the drivers from the motherboard manufacturer's website, or at the least, from the site of the company that supplied the sound chipset to the board maker.

I lost my mother board

Driver files can be found at btjunkie.org this is a place I go and get them. If you need future drivers. More than likely you can get the mother board drivers from your disc set provided for you at the time of purchase if you kept them. Also download the free torrent software I use Utorrent do this first. Click Here
You will also need utorrent software as well it is free to download get the software here. Click Me go to the search box type in drivers use this example, XP drivers. There are lots of them you can put on one disc and then insert the burned disc with the downloaded driver files in the ROM drive and point to the driver that has a highlighted yellow triangle or a question mark in DEVICES window which can be found in the control panel or right click on my computer then have the disc ready to be pointed to find the driver during the update driver files link RIGHT CLICK to access the driver update options.
I have used the 700,000 or the 50,000 or any one of the large files of drivers and have been able to repair computers for folks that do not have driver discs that came with there computers. It has never failed me.
You might run into an .ISO which is an image file to download some drivers get the MAGICISO software program at btjunkie.org.
This should enable anyone to find drivers that are hard to find. Use as last resort. Try to use your original discs first or order a lost restore disc makes life easier when installing programs into your personal computer. You may also use paid for Driver update software as well these work pretty well and not to expensive which saves you lots of time and efforts as well. I use driver genius as one of my main programs you can also find this at btjunkie.
Thanks for using FixYa for all your questions. Do not forget to vote for me as well if I helped you. John

I've AMD sempron 2400 1.66

yes without any doubt the ram you should need is DDR 1 or DDR 333mhz or 400mhz either one should do and probably can be found very cheap on ebay. if you really only want 1gb probably best to have 2x512mb sticks as some motherboards didnt like the 1GB modules and needed to be flashed. but if your mainboard is pretty good you will probably find that it can take 2gb

Audio probleam

Hello.
The driver for that, should be included in the sound device drivers
Look on the website of your motherboard manufacturer and get the updated drivers for that board.
But if you can't get it for any reason, be worry only if you are a musician, MIDI is stand for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, and its used to connect musical instruments like a Keyboard for example.
Its used too for Game Controllers( joistick for example).

Hope this help.

Pc keeps freezing PLEASE HELP

step 1: clean up your drive by using "left click desktop My Computer icon-hover drive c then right click and select Properties-look for Disk Cleanup button and select it and proceed to eliminate almost everything that you can. step 2: Then select TOOLS tab and run Error Checking and deselect both optionals then run Defrag. When done, then run Start-All Programs-Accessories-System tools-System restore and then turn off Restore. step 3: Now repeat step 1. step 4: Now repeat step 2 but turn on restore. step 5: power down (using Windows-not power plug). step 6: restart Windows if all worked ok, what you just accomplished was to free up many many bytes of data. The restore function, when used continuously, can use up a sizable portion of the drive which is also looking for free virtual memory space. Also, if you have 1Gbyte of memory or more, you may turn virtual memory off, improving speed.
