Merits wheelchair 2 center flashing lights when turned on
Flash Code 2 indicates that the voltage is too high or too low. Check batteries and cable connections. Charge the batteries. If this fault occurs during battery charging, the charger is defective or not adjusted correctly. Empty batteries will charge. Dead batteries will not normally charge.

Power eye blinks when turned
Count the number of times the power light blinks between pauses ie 4 blinks pause 4 blinks etc and this is the fault code If you have the users manual it might tell you what the code means. As long as the power eye blinks the scooter will not move and without knowing the error code I can't give you the definite answer Good luck

The right wheel is locked down and the scooter
sender the yellow x indicates a malfunction in the scooter. Does the x blink. If it does count the number of flashes and this will give the error code. Your users manual should explain what each code means. If Medicare paid for your scooter then they will pay for most of the repair cost. Call Repiar Xpress @ 1-877-581-3733 to ask if they have a tech in your area to check it for you Hope this helps

Flashing green light on the
You more that likely have a problem with the KILL switch. There are several on these creatures, but I am sure we can get to the right one.... First, check under the seat, make sure that there are NO loose connections, this can kill it right fast. Then check your gas and brake lines and look for kinds, if there is one then the machine will die instantly. All of these are for the safety for the rider... Take care, and please VOTE if you got any help.... Guy :)

Need to trouble shoot my merit scooter, no eletc.
This sound like a bad PC board. At the head of the tiller up where you make your speed adjustments, inside is a PC board that controls all of the functions you are describing. These most often fail due to exposure to moisture as it is an electronics board. Fortunately, they are relatively cheap, about $35.00 or so. You must remove the shroud covering the tiller, remove the speed control know and expose the board inside at the top. there should be four screws holding it in place. Remove those, unplug the wires leading to the board, and install new board, plug it in, reinstall shroud and it should be off and running.

Wigwag Throttle Control Pot FREERIDER loose
The spring that applies tension on the wigwag often breaks. After removing the shroud to gain access to the throttle, back off the two allen screws (2mm) and pull off the throttle handles, remove the nut in order to replace the spring. The cost of the spring is about $4.00 compared to the complete throttle at about $250.00.
