Cant get code for a Magnavox TV/DVD/VCR for a
Hi,
This is because the TV/DVD/VCR combination set is not listed for the URC-4021. This particular Magnavox set is not pre-programmed into the library for this remote and the remote may not control the set.
You have two options here:
1) Try the common Magnavox codes as listed and you may be lucky to find one that works. These are;
0000, 0030, 0035, 0039, 0054, 0081, 0503, 0675, 0706, 0722, 0724, 1254, 1454, 1781.
2) Use the search function on the remote to scan for the code.
To do this -
Turn on the device and insert the required media.
- On the remote control, press TV once.
- Press and hold SET until the LED (red light) blinks twice, then release SET.
- Enter 9 - 9 - 1.The LED will blink twice.
- Aim the remote control at the TV and slowly alternate between pressing POWER and TV. Stop when the TV turns off (after pressing POWER). If the device does not have a Power key, you can substitute another function, such as digits 0 ~ 9 , CH, or PLAY).
- To lock in the code, press and release SET.The LED will blink twice.
- To search for the codes of your other devices, repeat steps 1 through 5, but substitute the appropriate device key for the device you are searching for.
