Cobra ® Power Inverters Questions & Answers
M/n cpi 1575 I've had my inverter installed in my
it indicates an overload situation
not enough information provided as to voltage supplied to the inverter and the voltage of the grinder
examples are for 110 volts ac with a current draw of 4.2 amps the wattage is 462 watts or for 240 v ac with 4.2 amps the wattage is 1008 watts assuming that it is 240 volts and the inverter has a maximum ate of 1000 watts then it is overloaded and circuit protection is cutting in
check the wattage of the inverter and the wattage of the ac units you use and if there is not a 25% difference in favour of the inverter then it is an overload situation
Is it possible to repair my Cobra 1500w to 3000w peak power inverter?
As the Cobra 1500w inverter is constructed analogous to a high-frequency "switching" power supply, it is not recommended to modify it to exceed original specifications. For any inverter intended for applications exceeding 2000W transient peak, it is highly recommended to use a low-frequency "true-sine" inverter. Your Cobra inverter is designed for low-deman applications, and is insufficient for high-demand applications.

My cobra 1500 watt inverted doesn't come on wen I
You may not have adequate input voltage. And unless you are hooking up to a forklift battery, the battery will not have adequate current delivery capability for any more than a few seconds at full power of the inverter.1200 Watts is 100 Amps. 1500 Watts is in the neighborhood of 130 Amps.

When I turn microwave on it blows 60 amp fuse
60 amps times12 volts = 720 watts times 80% effic of conv. = 576 watts available for microwave...
You must have a very tiny microwave as most require at least 1000 watts input power. That might have something to do with blowing the fuse. Since the microwave has a very reactive inout, you need a goodly safety margin above the rated watts input.
