How do i program my universal remote to my magnavox 07DG E244239 TV
Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Programming Notes
• If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote.
• Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality.
This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device.
Search the site by type in the "
brand name" to your device; to which you want set-up codes; in the "
Search box at the top right of the display window" to get gathered related posts.

I have an old magnavox model number 22787047 that only gets static. Is there a fix for this? Thank you.
If this is an older CRT TV, you probably have no analog TV signal present - most nations have converted to digital TV. In that case, the only way it will work is to get a digital to analog TV adapter box to connect to the antenna or video input terminal.
If it's an AM/FM radio, the bandswitch may have dirty or tarnished contacts. This can usually be fixed by opening the radio and spraying a bit of electrical contact cleaner into the switch (it does not work to spray it on the knob shaft or switch actuator from the outside of the radio; you have to get directly on the contacts inside the switch). The volume control may also be dirty; use cleaner made for electronic volume controls, rheostats or potentiometers. Do not use WD-40 or other solvents; they may dissolve the resistive material and ruin the part.
While you have the radio open, check the AM antenna coil (a black rod or bar about 2-5 inches long with wire wrapped around it. If the black ferrite material is cracked or broken, the antenna will be much less effective, if it works at all. If this is replaced, the AM input transformer will probably have to be retuned for optimum performance. This should be done only with a plastic screwdriver, (metal messes up the tuning and may break the ferrite transformer core). This is best done using a post marker-sweep generator and an oscilloscope.

I own a Magnavox TV with built in DVD player. The DVD will not eject the disc. How do I get it out??
Hi,
It sounds like the DVD may be jammed in the mechanism. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to get that out if the eject button on the TV and remote are not working. You will need to find a local electronics repair shop and take the TV to them to get that DVD out.
I would google electronics repair and your postal code and give a couple of shops nearby a call to see if they can help and how much it would be. Hope that helps.
