Bosch 24 in. SHU6802UC / SHU6806UC Built-in Dishwasher - Page 2 Questions & Answers
My 5-year old Bosch dishwasher
I have the same problem with mine!! It's 6 years old, and I'm running loads of dishes through twice. Even that doesn't help! And I rinse the dishes too, so I have no idea where all these "crumbs" are coming from. Will check back for updates. Hope to get this problem solved!
Long cycle and other probs.
This is almost always a bad control board. If you want to verify this, turn power off to the unit and remove the outer door by removing the 4 or 6 torx screws down each side and then remove the upper housinb by removing the remaining torx screws. Once you have the upper housing off, find the control board. It is a white box with lots of wires connecting to it. Lable the wires and take them off, then pop the control board out of place (it just snaps in) Once you hve the control board in hand open the white houseing into 2 halfs (it is hinged) and pop the board out of its holder (the half of the board without the buttons) and look on the back for a burned solder joint. Ths is how they all fail. You may be able to clean the joint and re-solder it, but I have never tried. If you Don't want to go through all that, just get a control board 99.9% surethat's where your problem is.
Good Luck!

f is fill fault to much or not enough water or water in the sump white plastic base the f code will not go away until you solve the problem when the f code shows up the drain motor will run all of the time
Water is staying in the bottom and not draining
Be sure the screen under the bottom spray arm is free of food particles. You may need to remove it to clean it. You will need to unscrew the cap, remove the arm and clips that hold the screen in place. Make sure the drain hoses are not kinked. If this doesn't help the problem, you will need to pull the dishwasher and disconnect the drain hose from both ends and flush out debris at the sink. You may need to replace the drain valve
Water in the dish washer is not getting hot, any ideas
Hello, welcome to Fixya.
The problem you're describing is unfortunately a common one with B/S/H/ built dishwasher's. That includes Bosch, Thermador, Siemens, and Gaggenau.
Here`s the most likely reason why it has detected the error...
Even if your home water supply appears hot, it's not hot enough and must be heated by the dishwasher to insure a proper clean and dry. Most if not all manufacturer`s do this.
When it comes to your Bosch dishwasher the problem likely lye`s within`the electronic timer/control, specifically the heater relay solder joint. ( a faulty flow switch, ntc or heater can also cause this, but not very probable ). This is why it runs forever unless pressing the two buttons for "cancel".
To repair your unit It will require you to remove the control from the unit and then remove the control from it`s plastic housing and look for a burnt solder contact on the printed circuit board. This will be one of the pins from the heater relay, hence the unit sit`s just running on & on because it can`t heat to advance or until canceled.
**Further to this, if you or someone you know is proficient at soldering, a lot of times it can be remedied by simply repairing the solder...although Bosch recommend`s replacing the control and I don`t pretend to speak on their behalf nor do I profess to know better. This is just my experience (it work`s) and my opinion (why buy new if one can repair ?)**
**Please disconnect the power before attempting any service to the dishwasher**
Installing a new control will certainly remedy the problem as well but since it is typically around $170 and up just for the part, I am more likely to offer someone an alternative to buying new, hence my first reaction to mention this repair tidbit.
The control is available at most brick & mortar appliance parts stores or on-line at vendors such as "repairclinic.com", "apwagner.com", "searspartsdirect.com" etc. part number is based on your specific model number so you`ll need to provide that.
Hope this answer`s your question's, let me know if I can assist you further. Thank`s for visiting "fixya" for your repair inquiries.
Please take a moment and rate this solution to it's helpfulness to you and leave a testimony if you're satisfied.
Good luck.

Bosch Dishwasher Model SHU66C soap door will not open
This is most likely the actuator for the soap door. Unplug and remove door covers to find it, and check it is not seized. Look at "wax motor" online to understand working, as they often use these (and may appear siezed - when actually ok)
Check cables are not broken and connectors not corroded.
Replace actuator if you are uncertain, and try again.
Further problems may be the contact to control it in the controller assembly or a broken cable between the two.
SHE68MO6UC does not wash
Hi, welocome to fixya. By the description you've provided, it sound's like the wash motor is either seized or just stuck, let's hope it's the later. Bosch had issued a service tip about this problem several years ago titled "Loosening Frozen Impellers" strange choice of word's considering nothing is froze..at least you'd hope lol. Essentially what it say's is this...Remove the pump fitler ( inside the tub under the bottom rack ) locate the hole to your right down in the sump well, you should be able to see it with a flashlight so it's a well lit area. Once you've located this hole ( it's providing access to the wash impeller without pulling the unit from the cabinet ) reach in with a 8mm nut driver and locate the end of the impeller and turn it clock-wise until it feel's to turn freely. Give it a test perhaps in a rinse cycle before you put all the filter and screen back together. It should be fine unless the motor is seized, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it, try the repair tip for now. Let me know how that help's and/or if you need further assistance. Thank's for visitng "fixya" for you repair tip's. If this is indeed helpful please rate the solution accordingly, if not, again please let me know. Thanks again and good luck. Macmarkus :)
My dishwasher is stuck in the "minutes before starting" mode
I think it is difficult. If programmed that way, you have to wait till the cycle is complete. Even if you switch off/on, it will resume from the old setting only.
Or contact service provider or refer user guide. You may have to hold two switches pressed together to cancel.
Control panel is completely dark. Repeated
Hi and welcome to Fixya,
I would start by first shutting off the breaker. Then removing the kick plate ( access panel at the bottom ) and checking the wiring at the junction box for the dishwasher 120vac supply line. This is actually quite common to find a wire connector come loose due to improper fastening and once the unit is in use for a while the connections heat & cool, become loose from normal operating vibrations and burn up from all the added heat caused by "resistance". The end result is no power to the controls. Check it out and post back what you find. Thanks for visiting "fixya" and please take a moment to rate the solution/suggestion provided here for you. Good luck. Macmarkus :)
Water backs up
The water valve is leaking by.
I just put a short story in the tips section about my adventures with my dishwasher that was doing the same thing. It may help to read it.
