My Bosch dryer will only run if start switch is held in. Machine is 10 years old. What are the possible causes

There is a centrifugal switch on the motor that kicks out when the motor is spinning fast enough that the start switch is no longer needed. The only way to fix this is to replace the motor If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/steven_a67ead41eb5fc62a

I have a bosch wtm3300 dryer and it was in a flood, I let it dry our for a week or so, then turned it on, it spins and blows cold air.

Check the circuit breaker for the dryer. It most likely has one leg tripped internally. This will allow only 120 to operate the motor and controls, but not the heating element.

My bosch 8kg condensor dryer just switched off and now doesnt want to switch on again. everything is clean and there is just no power.

Check and make sure the exhaust air duct is clear of lint, it may have overheated due to poor exhaust airflow.

The dryer works ok until it is hot then stops. start it again it runs a for a shorter time and stops. the hotter, the shorter the time before it stops.

Your upper limit switch is kicking in to stop a fire from happening.

Switch could be bad and need to be replaced , but first try less expensive options:

Could be a bend or blockage in the exhaust tube. That would keep the temp too high in the dryer.

Clean out the exhaust pipe frequently to prevent a common cause of house fires. With luck that is your problem.

Also check the lint trap. If you open the dryer, check for lint that got past the lint filter too.

2010 bosch vision clothes dryer overheats now it wont start

Clothes dryers have many thermostats and a fuse of r two to prevent fires when they overheat. Probably yours is overheating from lint accumulation. Although you have a lint screen, that screen will only get some of the lint, some will remain trapped inside. You must take your machine all apart in little pieces to clean it completely out. I have found up to a whole shoe-box-full of lint in modern machines. The shutting off is because a thermostat or fuse has "popped" and must be replaced. You can find out which one with an electrical tester. Modern machines have a fuse or two, and up to 6 thermostats. God bless your efforts.

How do i replace heating element in bosch wta2000 dryer

I'm not entirely shire. Is it a newer dryer? I'm answering though to ask if your sure its the element. Very often its not. It may be a hilimit switch. There are typically 3 of them. They are attached at the drum and the housing for the element. They are safety switches about the size of a quarter. You can check them with an ohm meter or take them to a parts dealer. Google is your friend for this. Many manufactures provide manuals online.
