4. Next in the same app list find "Google Service Framework"
5. Click clear data (Not Cache), then Force Stop
6. Switch off the phone or tablet and turn it back on
7. You should be able to download and update apps from the Google Play store once more.

Or Simply Go to settings/app.manager/all Delete data + cache : Google Play Store Google Play-services Google Services Framework Hangouts Market-feedback agent (important) Then delete google-account(data/system/user/0/ fine the accounts.db file and cut and paste it somewhere else) Restart the phone and then re-add google-account( paste your accounts.db file earlier to it's original location). p/s~Your device need to be rooted to remove/delete google account without a factory reset.enjoy and have a good day :)

I have updated all of the software on my tablet. I then got "go launcher" and updated it. The browser does not work so I got a new one. It seems to be doing Ok as far as the rebooting problem. I cant use the android market app that comes with this tablet. It crashes the app when I open it. I had to go to amazon apps. That works. I don't know why the launcher and app market and the browser that comes installed on this tablet will not work on this tablet.

"rom"? What exactly are you trying to do? Are you referring to ROM as part of the tablet's memory? If yes, you probably will not be able to do it. ROM is a memory chip built onto the circuit board itself inside the tablet. You would need to completely dismantle the tablet to do it. Most tablets are not built to be taken apart for repairs.

Question edited for clarity. You can't. You have to fix the Volume button first as it is the thing that initiates the reset. But you can try the volume Up button instead. Some version of Android will work with either or both Up and Down.
