The problem may be in one of several places, here's a list of things to try, starting with the easiest and progressing to more difficult:
1. Run your hand around the bottom of the pool in the dishwasher looking for paper or cellophane that may be covering the screen of the drain.
2. Disconnect the drain hose from under the sink (get a bucket and rags) looking for a clog at that point of connection. Run the dishwasher drain cycle while you have this hose pointed into a bucket - if nothing comes out, the problem is between points 1 and 2.
3. Partially remove the dishwasher so you can get to the drain hose where it connects to the dishwasher. Temporarily put another drain hose on it, with the other end in a bucket. Run the drain cycle of the dishwasher. If it comes gushing out, the drain hose is clogged. If it still won't drain, your will need some disassembly of the drain & pump.
good luck,

the drain is still partially plugged. what I do is blow out the drain with compreesed air. I made a fitting for my air compressor for this. this works best!! just 1 or two blasts should clean drain. unless it is very bad.
First turn off the power(breaker box to dishwasher and sdisposal
open the doors to your sink and and check the hose for any kinks etc open the dishwasher door, bail out water remove the spinning hub and see if you can remove the strainer and bail out more water
you can use a baster to **** out more to view to see if the pump area is plugged
reverse proedure and turn on dw listen to see if the pump engages on that cycle
hopefully this solves problem
If the pump does not engage you wil need to call for service
Question edited for correct spelling of maker 'Noen' to 'Moen'.
'Fix' as in it is leaking? Or tighten it down because it is wobbly, or something completely different?
Well, we can have a one on one seminar by the internet. I've been a pumpman for 20 years. I can share with you my experience (household pumps, suibmersible pumps, turbine pumps, gear pumps, piston pumps, dewatering pumps, mud pumps, trash pumps, mining pumps, solids handling pump, etc....) Just take your pick. Just send in your e-mail for assistance. God bless.
It is leaking due to a defective mechanical seal. It needs to be replaced. To replace it, is to take the pumpcase off by taking off the bolts that hold it. Then, take the impeller off to take the mechanical seal behind it. Put the replacement in, and reassemble the pump. Just get in touch with us by e-mail to get more assistance.
Move the lever or turn the knob. Check the stop tap under the sink. Make sure the faucet control knob or lever is tight, There is normally a removable cover that hides the screw..
Question edited for clarity, full 'make model (what it is)'.
This a Menards special. To remove handles, look for a small hole hidden from the front. They take a small Allen Key.
