How can I get my wireless headset CS520 model to answer a call without having to lift the phone receiver first?

A headset button can be added to the phone that when pushed will activate the headset port on the phone. Once added the light will light when headset mode is active. This button can be added through the multi-line set key assignment for in the mitel. I would also suggest added a release button at the same time as the release key would be used to disconnect a call in headset mode.

I have Mitel SX-50, while talking with the person, the call drops and goes on night mode automatically. Is there any solution for this?

Hi, Sounds a bit serious. You could try powering down and re-seating all the cards. It could be a Processor issue. You could also check the Lithium battery on the Program module. I can't remember if the memory chips are soldered to the board or in sockets. It is a long while since I repaired these systems. If socketed, then I suggest carefully lifting each one in turn and re-seating them in their sockets. I have done this with SX20 boards. In time, impurities build up between the Memory pins and the socket and insulate the connection. Re-seating restores the connection, same as for re-seating the main cards. As a worst case, you could try resetting the user programming code back to factory settings and re-programme. You would need the Installation manual to do this as the programming is unconventional to say the least.

Maintenance Ports are normally so a service engineer can connect a laptop with Mitel Software and program numbers, extensions, access and restrictions easily. SX 200 Superconsole 1000 maintenance manual explains. Why does my mitel 5330e ring once then transfer to my cell phone

There is a feature called "Call Forwarding" On most phones these instructions work. Turning on Call Forwarding
  1. Dial *72 (or 1172 on rotary phones).
  2. Listen for three beeps followed by dial tone.
  3. Dial the phone number to which your calls are to be forwarded.
  4. If there's an answer at the number you are forwarding to: Make sure you keep the line open for at least 5 seconds to activate the service.
Turning off Call Forwarding 1. Dial *73 (or 1173 on rotary phones).
