I have Mitel SX-50, while talking with the person, the call drops and goes on night mode automatically. Is there any solution for this?
Hi, Sounds a bit serious. You could try powering down and re-seating all the cards. It could be a Processor issue. You could also check the Lithium battery on the Program module. I can't remember if the memory chips are soldered to the board or in sockets. It is a long while since I repaired these systems. If socketed, then I suggest carefully lifting each one in turn and re-seating them in their sockets. I have done this with SX20 boards. In time, impurities build up between the Memory pins and the socket and insulate the connection. Re-seating restores the connection, same as for re-seating the main cards.
As a worst case, you could try resetting the user programming code back to factory settings and re-programme. You would need the Installation manual to do this as the programming is unconventional to say the least.

There is a feature called "Call Forwarding"
On most phones these instructions work.
Turning on Call Forwarding
- Dial *72 (or 1172 on rotary phones).
- Listen for three beeps followed by dial tone.
- Dial the phone number to which your calls are to be forwarded.
- If there's an answer at the number you are forwarding to: Make sure you keep the line open for at least 5 seconds to activate the service.
Turning off Call Forwarding
