to remove the cartridge a pair of paint can openers works well to pry the stem out .

Hi,
The spout can easily be replaced...
Check for a set screw underneath back at the wall...
If no set screw then simply twist the spout of by turning CCW...
Then find a replacement spout at your local HD, Lowes< or hardware and reinstall the new one...
The replacement spouts are so cheap that it is not worth trying to fix the old one..

The handle on the delta diverter will only go from
that is the way they are made. they are pressure balanced to reduce the risk of scallding.
however there is an adjustment that will allow a little more hot water. if you remove the handle, there is a small plastic disk, remove that, under that you will see a small ring with what looks like gear splines... pull out slightly and turn counter clockwise a few notches. reinstall the plastic disk and test.
if you don't get enough hot water, adjust again. only adjust a couple of notches at a time. you don't want to scald yourself in the shower.
Water start leaking under the house when you pull
I'm assuming the leak is in the wall somewhere between the on/off lever or knob and the shower head. It is a good chance that it is the mixing-valve. It could also be where the shower head screws into the drop-eared 90*. If it is the mixing valve, it is either ruined, or a bad seal that might be replaceable. If it is busted piping the wall will have to be opened up to replace it. Good chance that the arm to the shower head is leaking at the threads where it screw into the wall. Good luck.
There is a very slow leak only at the weep hole
The hole is designed to let water out instead of going back into your wall. The spout needs to be taken off (unscrewed usually by hand) and tephlon tape needs to be put on the threads coming out of the wall. After this is done, screw the spout back on. Should be all set.
WATER IS WARM NOT HOT AT SHOWER EVERY WHERE ELSE
If this is a single lever faucet, they have a plastic "geared "peice that is adjustable so the water can be very hot at a sink but will allow the
shower / tub to be set at a lower mixing temperature to prevent scalading someone. to get to it remove the center cap and remove the screw from the center and remove the outer knob that sets the hot cold mix, the "gear" peice is there, set it left or right by one tooth at a time and check it till you get the disired temperature, you can remove it totaly but then it will get as hot as the water heater puts out.
Delta Faucet RP13740 Bidet-Vacuum Breaker leaks from the top.
For me, the issue was the washer that's exposed on the underside of the circular brass piece that's exposed when you unscrew the top (I wasn't able to find any documentation that explains what anything is called). My washer looked fine, but I removed it, added some silicone o-ring lube i had and re-assembled. Stopped leaking.
