Blade brake dosen't work right away when switch is released. Takes a couple seconds of slow spin then the brake seems to stop the brake. Suggestions?

All blade brakes take a moment to stop the blade. If it were to engage as soon as the switch were released the inertia of the blade would do damage to the saw. Look at videos of your saw on youtube to ensure it is operating the same as others.

My blade gaurd will not automatically rotate out

MS12502 has a solid arm actuation to move the blade guard, this is either bent, broken, unattached or otherwise not functional. sometimes the moving parts get full of sawdust and a major cleaning is all thats needed. generally all woodworking tools should be blown out with air after each use or end of day.

actual model number of your saw would be more helpful.

Where is the blade brake on the miter saw

The brake on electric motor driven tools is the field & armature. When running the switch provides power to both sides/poles of the field through the brushes and armature. When you release the switch half of the field is powered pulling the armature to a stop. If your bladed continues to spin when the switch is released, you need to replace the switch. The Ridgid part number for the proper switch is 503317000.

Ridgid Compressor ol50135 twin tanks

You need to check if the compressor has frozen up.

LIKELY the check valve has failed or has contaamination under the seat. Often these valves are right where the compressor line goes into the tank. The unit will not hold pressure since the compression relief will vent at shutdown.

Check oil level in crankcase.

My ridgid mitre saw won't get up to speed after a

The brushes and the armature have probably oxidized a little. Remove the brushes and clean the contact end with a piece of sandpaper and re-install them. This should have you up and running again. The armature will clean off during use.

12 inch miter saw blade turns slowly and doesn't

There's no debris or wood jammed in the housing around the blade, is there? Try unplugging and removing the blade, to make sure some wood hasn't gotten wedged in there somewhere.
Otherwise, make sure the blade is on tight. If so, there is likely a problem with the motor itself.
If it's still under warranty, I'd contact Ridgid at this link: http://www.ridgid.com/Tools/Support/
Otherwise, they have a tools forum where you might be more likely to find someone who's experienced a similar problem.
Being reconditioned, it sounds suspect to me...

I have a Ridgid R4510 table saw and while making a cut a board jammed and the table saw stopped and the house circuit tripped. Now the table saw will not start.

Most table saws have a overload circuit breaker, check that. It is usually a red button that trips.
