Bostitch sx150 shoots every other staple ...why?
Not to be an a$$ but it's impossible to fire every other staple, where are the staples it's not firing going?- If you mean it's firing the second staple in line to come out, you have a bent driver. Usually this results in two staples trying to be fed out. You can try to straighten it but it has to be exactly, perfectly straight. You're going to be better off replacing it. That's part number 121280 from Stanley/Boostitch or any other aftermarket parts place on the web.- If you mean it fires every other time you pull the trigger (sequential trigger) or touch the nose to the work (contact trigger) then you have a problem with the safety assembly, trigger or trigger valve. You can go to
www.ereplacementparts.com to see a breakdown of your gun to see what parts to look for. You can also order most parts from them or use the part numbers to shop around the web.

you need a trigger assembly it sounds like/ to remove you will find 3 roll pins, unplug the air supply and remove all the roll pins in the trigger/switch and then the trigger valve ssembly is easily removed BUT follow closely, after removing the roll pins remove the trigger and then holding a rag under the trigger assembly pull back on the collar to release the bit. clean with chemicals and try ing to find that special commodity.
