Cuisinart coffee maker will not pump

This can be caused from three different failures; the heating element itself, the bimetal thermal switch that controls the heating element or a thermal fuse that has opened with (or without) reason.
Check the bottom plate on which the pot sits after the machine has been on for several minutes to see if it has heated at all. If not, then the thermal fuse or the element has failed.
The former part is customarily welded to one end of the heating element and cannot safely be replaced by itself.
The thermal switch that causes the cycling of the element is clamped to the element but also is welded to its connecting points.
The entire assembly generally will need to be replaced.
The exact location of the failure can be found using the most primitive multimeter and a few minutes time. If you wish to DIY, answer back and I will guide you.

I have a dgb600bc grind

When the cycle is finished, the coffeemaker will beep 5 times, indicating that the coffee is ready. The unit will turn off automatically.

The insulated carafe keeps the coffee warm for four hours. The aroma of the coffee is preserved thanks to the hermatic cover. It is not necessary to remove the cover to pour coffee.

Hope this will help you.

Wont brew a full pot

I had the exact same problem with my machine making 1 cup at a time.

Here is the solution:

1. make solution of 1 part vinegar & 2 parts water.

2. pour solution into resivoir and set for 2 hours

3. run solution through machine (yes, you will have to stand there and keep pushing the buttons).

4. take same solution (now very hot) and run it through machine 5 or 6 times

5. make fresh solution and continue process until machine runs full cycle.

I've triggered some alarm and I cant turn it off!

OK, here's the owner's manual for your coffee maker. I've got to run out for dinner, otherwise I'd give you the step-by-step, but the manual contains all the info you need to resolve this.

Also, it's nice to have a manual for any other issues you might come across, (programming auto brewing, cleaning, etc.)

Print and download a copy to save on your PC for future use and reference too.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

Water leaking from the base of the unit.

Water leaking in the DGB-600 is mainly caused by heated water escaping from its proper path. There is a rubber grommet on the underside of the upper part of the coffeemaker. (It contacts the lid over the filter basket when the front door is closed.) The design in this area is very poor; the grommet does not seat properly in the fixed part of the coffeemaker, and heated water seeps out. Also, the heated water tube that comes up through the cold water reservoir is actually in 2 pieces. One goes inside of the other, but there is no seal. It is a loose enough fit that some steam escapes, condenses on the inside top surface of the coffeemaker, and then finds its way down to add to the leaking. I completely disassembled my coffeemaker (3 of the screws in the upper compartment are hidden under small circular plugs that look like they are part of the plastic surface), and used high temperature automotive RTV sealer to help the rubber grommet seal better, and to seal the 2-piece hot water tube. Works great now! But I must say that I have seen better engineering in childs' toys!
