The simplest way to check if the DLC-7E blade is one of the recalled blades is to take the blade out and look at it. If there are 4 rivets holding the blades to the stem, it should not be used. For more information, look at https://recall.cuisinart.com/ . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells (The rivets, if present, will visible when you look at the top of the blade where the two sections of the blade go around the stem of the unit.)
