Belt is off center
Tighten the rear adjusting bolts until the walk belt it tight enough to lift about 1.5 inches at the sides of the walk belt. After you do this, Turn the treadmill on to speed setting 2, and be ready to tighten the side that the belt is closest to.( if the belt is against one side, start with that side) Tighten only 1/2 a turn at a time and watch the belt start to move. It wont take much once it starts to move. Only tighten each side ( if necessary) dont loosen the bolts. Once the belt is in the middle, leave it alone. The belt is now adjusted. You may see it travel to one side, breifly, but it will return on its own.

I had the same problem with my Nordic track. I pressed every button until I found the one that did not beep. The one that does not beep is stuck. My problem was with the Ifit button. The first few times I would push the bad button until it started beeping. That worked for awhile (couple of weeks but started up again). I disconnected the Ifit unit and now the thing work fine except for Ifit which I never used. Nordic track wanted to sell me a new console which cost more than the machine.

Walking belt on NordicTrack C1900 is to loose, how
Tighten the rear roller bolts evenly with the unit off. The correct tension is when you firmly lift up on the right and left edges in the middle of the walking belt and get 2-3 inches gap above the walking board. If one side is looser than the other, the walking belt may wander sideways. Turn the rear roller screw on the side that it shifted to in a clockwise manner(1/2 turn at a time). Test on a low speed and adjust as needed. (you may manually recenter the walking belt with your foot if it shifted too far to one side and is rubbing on the plastic edges.) You likely have a worn motor belt that needs changing or even a pulley on the front roller that is slipping and needs replacing. They all cause slippage.

I have a C2050 and the treadmill will not go flat
If the incline motor does move, try the calibrating process. Call ICON for step by step procedure. If it won't calibrate properly, pull off the cap that has a black wire going to the controller board. You can gently pry up with a small flat blade screwdriver. Pull out the wire with the motor sensor at the end and clean off the oil on it. It may have too much that prevents the sensor from seeing the motor movement. Last and more difficult way is to manually adjust the motor shaft position. Turn the treadmill on its side. Remove the pin and bolt that goes through the plastic belly pan. Be careful that if the deck swings about, that you don't get your hands or anything hit by it. Now you need to turn the motor shaft to a new position and reassemble and see how it sits. You may have to do this several times until you get it where you want it. Important to know: The machine will slam to the floor if you don't turn it on its side to work on it and have the motor bolt inserted when standing it upright. You would hurt yourself.

Check the upright cable for crimped or broken wires and the connections to the controller board and the console. Most units run the cable up the right side leg. If they are damaged you need to splice them back together. Hope that was it.

We have a Nordictack A2350
as I said earlier when an engine is noisy, the problem is in the bearings and other times they seem to be the motor bearings when they are actually front roller bearings. check that and if necessary should be changed

Nordic Track Ifit Treadmill has power but walking pad not working
If everything on the display console is working correctly then we know it is either a problem with the wires from the console to the controller or the controller itself. In most cases this means you need a new controller. To verify, take off the motor hood and find the green circuit board called the motor controller. With the power on go into manual mode and push the speed up button to a slow speed. If you see an LED light with "spd ctrl" next to it flickering but the belt still does not move then we know the problem is with the controller sending the signal to the walking belt, in which you should check the wires that go to the motor. If they are connected correctly then we know a new controller is in order. If you do not see a flickering light then it means the speed signal never got there and the problem will be with the wires going from the console to the controller. This is called an upright wire harness.

The Nordic Track machine's controls seem to be
Remove the console from the treadmill and remove the back
remove and replace the ribbon cables that run from the keypads to the control board (they are flat plastic strips that push into the board).
remove and replace all the connections on the console
reattach the console and calibrate by doing the following:
1. With the key off press the speed + and stop buttons at the same time and hold
2. place the key on and release the buttons
3. press the stop key once
4. press the speed up til it reaches 85
5. if your max speed is 10 mph then it should read about 9.8-10.2
If the keys will not work then the console is bad and would need replaced.

Treadmill lights up and goes off
Check the main harness running up to the console through the leg. unplug it and use a volt meter to test the red and black wires. You should have 9-12 vdc if you do and the console is not lighting check that the safety key is in place. If it is and it is still not coming on the console is malfunctioning and would need replaced. If there is no voltage coming through the harness then you will need to check the harness for continuity. If harness tests ok then the controller is malfunctioning and would need replaced.
