My BMW 116i SE seems
Your car not going to sleep mode.
Battery power going down and car answered in this problem- car alarm to on,warning lights to on = battery powes shut down.
I have a 97 BMW
Check your battery. Check to make sure that the computer under the hood in the front dash is dry and properly connected. Another common failure of the alarm system are the door latches. (the latches have a micro switch in them that tell the system when the doors are shut)

hi the battery is located in the boot/trunk it will be on the drivers side of the boot under a plastic cover, if left hand drive, check other side as this could be different...but they are in the boot...hope this helps please vote thanks

The probem is that the
take it to a professional suspension shop
could be from failed/seized shockys, springs too strong, suspension mounts failed
At this point I would be looking at one or more shockys as a problem

2008 328i battery change warning
Make sure you hook a battery charger to the posts under the hood before you change out your battery. Otherwise the car loses all data, has to be flashed, recoded for the new aftermarket battery if that's what you bought and re-registered to the car. Believe me, it's much cheaper just to have the dealer install a new one. This is not all BMW's but some of them require this attention.
