Easy way is to Disconnect the main vehicle battery for a few minutes. When you hok it back up the alarm will start beeping every 5 seconds or so and this means it is in the "programming" mode. You can program up to 5 buttons at this time. SO press each one on each of your remotes one time and the alarm will respond with a loud BEEP. if you only have one remote to program just keep pressing the same 2 buttons till ou reach the 5 limit. Then it will stop beeping and you are set up.There is an additional way to do it through the programming option of the alarm but you really need a manual to walk through those steps.Good Luck

1944c Furuno radar array won't spin 7 years old. Just beeping
It seems like you're dealing with a technical issue related to a Furuno radar array. If the radar array is not spinning and is emitting a beeping sound, there could be several possible reasons for this problem. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check Power Supply: Ensure that the radar array is receiving proper power. Check the power cables, connections, and any fuses that might be relevant. Make sure the power source is functional and providing the correct voltage.
- Inspect Mechanical Components: If the radar array won't spin, there could be a mechanical issue with the rotating mechanism. Check for any obstructions or debris that might be preventing the rotation. Lubricate any moving parts if necessary.
- Connection and Wiring: Examine the connections between the radar array and its control/display unit. Loose or damaged cables could cause communication problems and result in the array not spinning. Ensure all connections are secure and undamaged.
- Software and Configuration: Sometimes, software settings or configuration options can affect the operation of the radar array. Check the user manual or documentation to ensure that the radar is properly configured. Try resetting the settings to default and see if that resolves the issue.
- Error Codes or Messages: If the radar is emitting beeping sounds, it might be indicating an error condition. Refer to the user manual or any accompanying documentation for a list of error codes or messages and their meanings. This could help pinpoint the problem.
- Contact Support: If you've tried the above steps and the issue persists, it might be best to contact Furuno's customer support or a qualified technician for further assistance. They can provide more specific guidance based on the model of your radar array and the symptoms you're experiencing.
Remember, working with electronic equipment requires caution to avoid electrical hazards. If you're not comfortable troubleshooting the issue yourself, it's always a good idea to seek professional help.
What does Fo4 mean on a Vector battery jump box?
The "F04" code on a Vector battery jump box typically indicates a fault or error within the unit or its connections. This error could be caused by a poor connection, a damaged battery clamp, or an issue with the box itself. To help fix the issue, try these steps:
1. Ensure the battery clamps are clean and not damaged.
2. Check the connections between the jump box and the battery terminals. Ensure the positive (+) clamp is connected to the positive terminal and the negative (-) clamp is connected to the negative terminal or a suitable ground location on the vehicle.
3. If possible, test the jump box on another vehicle to confirm it is working correctly.
4. If the issue still remains, consult the user manual or contact the manufacturer for further assistance or information on potential repair options.
Warning lights ford transit orange oil can and spanner
The orange oil can and spanner warning lights in a Ford Transit indicate an issue with the engine oil or a general engine malfunction. Here are the possible reasons for each warning light:
- Orange Oil Can: This warning light typically indicates a problem with the engine oil pressure. It may mean that the engine oil level is low or that there is an issue with the oil pump or oil pressure sensor. Low oil pressure can lead to engine damage, so it is important to address this warning promptly.
- Check the engine oil level: Ensure that the engine oil level is at the recommended level. If it is low, add the appropriate oil type and quantity as specified in the owner's manual.
- Inspect for oil leaks: Look for any visible oil leaks under the vehicle. Leaks should be repaired by a qualified mechanic.
- Faulty oil pressure sensor: If the oil level and leaks are not the issue, there may be a problem with the oil pressure sensor. A diagnostic scan should be performed to determine the exact cause.
- Spanner (Wrench): This warning light indicates a general engine malfunction or a fault in the vehicle's electronic system. It can be triggered by various issues, such as a problem with the engine management system, emission control system, or other related components.
- Check engine codes: Have the vehicle's onboard diagnostic system scanned to retrieve any stored error codes. These codes can help pinpoint the specific issue causing the warning light to illuminate.
- Seek professional diagnosis: Based on the retrieved error codes, a qualified mechanic will be able to diagnose and address the underlying problem.
It is important not to ignore these warning lights, as they indicate potential issues that require attention. Continuing to drive the vehicle without addressing the problem could lead to further damage or breakdown.
