20 Most Recent Frigidaire Affinity ATF6000F Front Load Washer Questions & Answers

Hello Roger, thank you for your inquiry! Based off the information you have provided you would like to know what an E-11 error code means on your Frigidaire washer. An E-11 error code means that the fill time is too long. This could be a possible problem with your pressure sensor, water valve, or main control panel. If the water pressure is below 30 PSI then it will continue to display the error code of E-11. Also make sure the hoses are not restricted or blocked because this could cause the error code to display. I hope this information has been helpful to you. -Matt

Hey friend, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that your Frigidaire washer is leaving black hole marks in clothing. This could be caused by internal issue with your tub or something could be caught along your tub causing the holes. You may want to look inside of your tub for any visible issues that could cause holes in your tub. You can also use a suck or pair of panty hoses to see if there are any issues with the tub. Place the sock or hose on your hand and rub it along the inside of your tub this will let you know if clothing is getting snagged on anything. If you continue to have issues with your washer I would recommend contacting a professional for proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

E10 error is water inlet hose clogged. Screens should be cleaned out. Hot and cold. If you can't do it yourself get someone to help you. Good luck.

Thank you for your inquiry, friend! Based off what you have described your Frigidaire washer is powering on but is not operating. It sounds like you could have a possible problem with your control panel. You may want to check if the panel is locked. If it is locked you should be able to press option and select that will unlock the control panel. If that does not help correct the issue I would suggest performing a power reset and you can do by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. Once power has been restored, if you continue to experience issues with the washer I would recommend having a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. Hope this is helpful. -Matt

Hello Nick Jensen, thanks for your post! From what you have described your Frigidaire washer is displaying an error code of "E48" and you have changed the control board with the problem continuing to be present. An "E48" error code could be a possible problem with your door lock assembly, motor control board, or control panel. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose your washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Hi - Could you please press and hold the start/pause and cancel button together at the same time for approximately 30 seconds? What error code does it display? With this information I can assist you further with the issue that the washer is having.

Hello friend, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

It is a normal operation to receive water inside the dispenser after draining. This is part of the siphoning action of the drawer. You would just remove the drawer and empty the water out, then reattach the dispenser drawer. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Hello Friend, this is Z. Thank you for allowing me to assist you! An error code E64 is associated with the heater circuit in the open position. A technician would typically check the heater coils and connections for short circuits to the cabinet to determine if this is the cause of the error code. Depending on the readings, the heater and/or wiring will possibly need replacing. This is not a normal DIY job so you may want to connect with a local servicer to determine the exact diagnosis to help reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. I hope this helps explain the error code you are receiving.

  • 1 Press any button on the display panel.
  • 2 Wait five seconds and then press and hold the "Start/Pause" button and the "Cancel" button at the same time.
  • 3 Open and shut the door. A "DR" error code indicates that there is a problem with the door, most likely that it has not shut properly. Check to make sure there are no clothes or other items caught in the door.
  • 4 Open the door and gently wiggle the door latch if the door does not click shut. Clean it with a damp cloth to remove excess dirt or debris that may prevent the door from latching into position.
  • 5 Close the door and re-select a new wash cycle and "Start."

Hello Friend, this is Z. Thank you for allowing me to assist you! I see that your Frigidaire washer (ATF6000FS1) door will not unlock. Sometimes, resetting power to your washer for about to 10 minutes does the trick. Once you turn on your washer, select a normal cycle and verify if the door will unlock. If not, your washer may possibly have a faulty door lock assembly, or a communication problem with the control board. You may want to connect with a local servicer who will be best equipped to pinpoint the problem. If you don't know a qualified technician, you can use the service locator option on the manufacturer site to find one near you.
