GLTF2940FS2 Ok no timer switch on

Check with your appliance parts repair people in your area. You should find no one will touch the electronic control panel. Usually, the time it takes and the cost for diagnostics will negate any profit for the business. Same as why many cars must go back to the dealer for electronics. Most of your local repair people will just replace the board. God bless your efforts.

I opened up the back of the machine and noticed that a connector was not connected to the control board, i removed the control board to get a better view of where it belonged, and slid the connector over the control board, closed up the machine and it's back in business.

Remove paneling to work on the machine

Good Afternoon Friend, I understand you want to remove the paneling on your Frigidaire washer, model# GLTF2940F, to work on your machine. Typically, this is not a do it yourself action, as there are no step by step instructions on how to remove the paneling. I suggest either contacting the manufacturer or your local authorized technician for further assistance. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP

Code e62 on frigidaire gallery series model GLTF2940FS2

Good Morning Friend, I understand you are receiving an E62 code on your Frigidaire Gallery washer, model# GLTF2940FS2. The E62 code means that there is a communication problem between the different control boards in your appliance. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP

Washing but not spining out clothes

Take the power plug off the wall. Be prepared for a lot of water before attempting the following. It doesn't spin because the unit is not draining water. It will not spin with water in it - must drain first. Check drain hose for kink, check exit pipe for blockage, then check pump. Could be your "coin trap assembly" is blocked, therefore not allowing all the water to pump out. Remove the front access panel, and remove the clamp that connects this trap assembly to the pump and clean it out. If helped pl say so, thanks.

Won't drain. Blinking pause. Won't

Hi.

You need to check the drain filter, which is directly connected to the pump. That is the place where you usually find blockage. The filter or coin trap is located inside the drum. See the schematic below:

ginko_314.gif

If that is not enough, then the drain pump access is located in the front side of the machine, hidden behind the trim at the base. The kick panel is held to the washer's frame by screws:

ginko_313.gif

After removing the panel you will Be able to access the pump. Have a container ready to collect water that will come out through the hose.

DISCONNECT POWER before starting the job.

Here parts diagrams:

Here a page about drain/spin problem.

If you need parts see this tip explaining how to find parts and diagrams for most appliances: Where do I find parts and diagrams for my appliance?

Regards.

Washer starts at 44 minutes

Turn the machine off then unplug it for at least 5 minutes then plug it it back. Turn on the washer then press any button and wait for 5 seconds. Press and hold the START/PAUSE and CANCEL buttons simultaneously. As long as the buttons are held, the most recent failure code will appear on the display as an "E" followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. Post back the error code, if there's any, for further troubleshooting and repair advice. Indicate the exact model number of the machine if the procedure prescribed here is not applicable.

Your Frigidaire GLTF2940F washer is not moving when it is washing clothes. This is because the belt is broke you can locate the belt on RepairClinic.com. Before you order the belt you need to findout the length as there are many different lengths and styles. In order to get to the belt you need to remove the back of the unit. My washer not sping out code error is e 21

Hi Error code e20/e21 means a clogged drain pump. This might have happened due to small clips, pins, coins, etc being stuck in the pump. Please note that error e21 can also occur when the drain pump is not pumping fast enough or when the pump fails. To fix the issue you'll need to check the drain pump.Remove the 2 screws from the bottom of the front access panel, it will come off. Now check for the pump on the right side and remove hoses from it. Remove pump from machine then remove whatever is there in the pump. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

Frigidaire front load washer GLTF2940FS barely

Yes, there is a filter on your machine. If you look in from the back, on the bottom of the tub is a hose coming off. Remove the hose from the tub section and inside of it you will find the filter.

Have a great New Year!
