Try running an update with Garmin Express, let it sit for 30 Min after it says it is done, then check again otherwise you may have jsut installed a smaller region ,... again Garmin express could help.

To reset device, power off. Then power on but keep your thumb on the bottom right or top right of the screen ( Depending on model ) as it is booting up, then if done correctly there should be a message saying along the lines of " Factory reset item, all data will be erased " In theory this should reset the device to factory and remove pin.

Try checking the port where de power cable goes in, it might be broken, or making a bad contact. Try moving the cable and see if that's the problem.

Hold in the power button for at least 30 seconds. Some units have a software bug that when you turn them off with the power button this happens. If you let the unit power off by removing the DC and it counts down to off it usually doesn't happen.
