There are a few options in your situation:
If the unit is stuck on and will not power down, hold down the power button for at least 10 seconds and that should force it to power down. You can also try this to power on, but usually it only works in the first scenario.
The other possibility is that it has absolutely no battery left and will not power on, in this case please plug it in to either a wall outlet, car adapter, or your computer depending on which cable or cables you may own for the unit.
One more possibility would be device failure, meaning a capacitor or fuse inside the device, or other part of the power source, has failed and the unit will need repairs or replacement, probably by the manufacturer.
The last possibility would be that the actual power button has failed, meaning the internal connectors / contact points for the button have either corroded or have been blocked or obstructed by something inside the device. This is pretty unlikely but it could happen. You could attempt to take the unit apart, but I would make sure that it is no longer under warranty before you do this, as this will most likely void any sort of remaining warranty you have.
I would contact the actual manufacturer (even though the device probably came from QVC, unless it was within the last 90 days or so that you purchased it, in that case call QVC for a return).
The manufacturer's contact information is:
