make sure green light is on if using the car charger and let it plugged in for awhile, then hold the power button (up to ten seconds) until it starts..

if you tried charging it with both house charger and car charger and tried to start it like i explain and it still will not start, its most likely a bad power port which is very common with this model and many other magellan models.

Sandra, go to Magellan site and download the Content manager again, this will enable you to upgrade the maps and software.
