Electrolux 8 kg washer has

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
E2 means water is unable to drain and is displayed due to blocked drain filter/hose or the pump/motor has gone bad and needs replacement. First you will have to clean the drain filter and drain hose, after cleaning if the problem is back then replacing the pump/motor is recommended repair. However, in your case as the washer is not taking water into the machine on start up then it means you have blocked water inlet valve or the water inlet valve itself is bad and needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

I have an electrolux inspire washing machine, 3

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
I've attached these filter guidance notes JUST IN CASE this is the problem. It's worth carrying it out regularly anyway ;-0)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry but I do not know your particular machine BUT I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and held in by a round cover/knob.

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!

It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!

Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

Kenmore he3

Overfilling loads can cause small objects like pins, coins, and small socks to get between the tub abd Basket of your washer.

The basket is held onto the rear half of the outer tub simply by the bolt to the main pulley.
Remove the bolt, remove the pulley, and the basket shaft should slip right out of the bearings of
the rear tub.

Simply shining a light around between the basket and outer tub should confirm that there is something in there, since you have access to do this with
the front tub removed. Go ahead, remove the pulley and bolt, and if
the basket comes out, then check everything out.

If it doesn't, don't try pounding it out; stop there and go to plan B, which is a new basket
and tub assembly.

Why does water remain in the fabric softener tray

Hello,
If you are getting good water flow through this section on the final rinse then it can only be a blockage in the tray itself. If you take out the drawer by depressing the button in the centre of the drawer.then wash all the old detergent under the tap. Then remove the small insert in the fabric tray you will see normally 3 raised tubes, these need to be clear and also the part that sits over them, you should clean it thoroughly then refit and try again.

Hope this helps.

How to enter diagnostic mode on Electrolux ewmgd70jppo

Please follow these procedures to activate the diagnostic mode on an Electrolux EWMGD70JPP0 dryer: Ensure that the dryer is unplugged from the power source and turned off. The "CANCEL" and "START" buttons should be pressed and held simultaneously. Reconnect the dryer's power while continuing to hold down the "CANCEL" and "START" buttons. Holding the "CANCEL" and "START" buttons together will start the diagnostic test. That should only take a few seconds. Once the diagnostic test has begun, let go of the "CANCEL" and "START" buttons. Now that you should be in diagnostic mode, you can go through the various tests using the display. The "CYCLE SELECT" knob and the "OPTIONS" button should be used to cycle through the tests, respectively. The diagnostic mode should only be used by those who are qualified to work on appliances, as it is designed for service technicians. It is advised that you get in touch with a reputable appliance repair provider if you are unfamiliar with the diagnostic mode or are unclear on how to proceed.

Electrolux EFLW427UIW1 front loader washer not dispensing fabric softener?

Question edited for clarity. Did you remove the drawer and remove the top off the fabric softener siphon? Most just pull off. Or turn it over and force hot water in from underneath. Scrub the hole in the upper part of the drawer with a pot brush. Or the motorized diverter in the top of the machine is faulty if it has one? The diagram isn't clear. https://www.google.com/search?q=electrolux+eflw427uiw1+parts+diagram ..

Electrolux Ecovalve EWF1087 wont progress past wash

If the machine is not progressing past the wash cycle and is stopping at the end of it, there could be a few possible reasons for this. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the water inlet valve: If the water inlet valve is faulty or clogged, it can prevent the machine from progressing to the rinse cycle. Check to ensure that the water inlet valve is clean and functioning properly.
  2. Check the drain pump: If the drain pump is faulty or clogged, it can cause the machine to stop at the end of the wash cycle. Check to ensure that the drain pump is clean and functioning properly.
  3. Check the door latch: If the door latch is not engaging properly, it can prevent the machine from progressing to the rinse cycle. Check to ensure that the door latch is clean and functioning properly.
  4. Check the pressure switch: The pressure switch detects the water level in the machine and signals when to advance to the next cycle. If the pressure switch is faulty, it can cause the machine to stop at the end of the wash cycle. Check to ensure that the pressure switch is clean and functioning properly.
If none of these troubleshooting steps work, it may be best to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the issue.

Electrolux front-load washer EIFLS55IIW0 won't spin. Belt-drive motor turns a few revolutions as drain pump starts, then stops while pump continues running.

Based on the information you provided, it is possible that the issue with your Electrolux front-load washer is related to the motor or the belt that drives it. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

1. Check the belt: If the belt that drives the motor is loose or damaged, it could cause the motor to stop spinning. To check the belt, first unplug the washer from the power source. Then, remove the back panel of the washer and locate the belt. Check for signs of wear, fraying, or stretching. If the belt is damaged, it will need to be replaced.

2. Check the motor: If the belt appears to be in good condition, the issue may be with the motor itself. Check the motor for any signs of damage or wear. You may need to remove the motor from the washer to do this. If the motor is damaged, it may need to be replaced.

3. Check the control board: If neither the belt nor the motor appears to be the problem, the issue may be with the control board. A faulty control board can cause the washer to stop spinning. To check the control board, you may need to consult a professional technician.

4. Check the pump: The drain pump may also be a culprit as it's continuing to run. A clogged drain pump filter can cause the washer to not spin. Check the filter and clear any debris that may be clogging it. You may also want to check the drain hose for any kinks or clogs that could be preventing proper drainage.

I have an Electrolux model EFLW427UIW1 that when I was washing clothes it made a loud noise and then smoke came from the tub

This sounds like a serious problem with your washing machine. Smoke coming from the tub can indicate an electrical or mechanical failure, which can pose a potential fire hazard. It's important to unplug the machine and stop using it immediately. You should not attempt to repair the machine yourself, as this can be dangerous and may void any warranties or insurance coverage. Instead, you should contact a qualified service technician to diagnose and repair the issue. Additionally, you should also contact the manufacturer to report the problem and see if there are any known issues with the model, or if there have been any product recalls.

Hello and welcome to the Fixya Community. Your Child Lock is activated. When the child lock is activated, there will be a key symbol in the display and all the washing machine buttons will be disabled. To deactivate the child lock, press and hold the start button for three to five seconds. After this time you will hear an audible beep and the key symbol will disappear.

The Electrolux dryer has been burning my clothes and I have to hang dry inorganic and delicate clothing or they will be ruined! Now my kids are doing their own wash Can they fix it?

The problem is lack of airflow. The inside is full of fluff and the exit hose from the machine, the hose itself and the outside vent are blocked. Pull it out, disconnect the hose, check the back and run it with no hose to test my theory. Or, the thermostat is faulty. Dryer fires and the number one cause of house fires!
